It's that time of year again: Engagement season! The majority of marriage proposals happen during the holidays, and with Thanksgiving over, we wanted to get right into the swing of things by asking our Facebook followers to share proposal photos and stories. It was hard, but we narrowed down our favorite submissions to these fabulous four. Read on and enjoy!

1. A true home run.
It's pretty special to be able to set foot on a baseball field, but to get proposed to on one? Now that's a moment to remember! Bride Briana Russo shared this sweet photo, adding that her fiancé "had our whole family in the stands cheering us on!"

2. An old-world surprise.
The sign in this photo, shared by bride Bethany O'Toole, practically begs to be part of a proposal! In her case, it was. "The afternoon started with delectable afternoon tea followed by a walk in an English country garden," she shared, along with the picture. "As we came across a derelict chapel with a sign on the door saying "and they lived happily ever after....." he presented a stunning Art Deco engagement ring and asked me to be his wife. Magical. Perfect." We have to agree!

3. A moment to face your fears.
For bride Ashley Williams' fiancé, commitment wasn't scary — but a boat was. Before she and her then-boyfriend set off for a birthday trip in Cozumel, a pal asked them to bring their finest whites for a photo shoot on his boat after they arrived. Williams jumped at the chance, and shared the rest of the story, along with photos from the proposal, including this one. "I thought it would be such a wonderful thing to have for our memories. Gorgeous pictures in an incredible setting," she wrote. "My fiancé is not big on boats and was somewhat nervous, little did I know where the nerves were really coming from. We set sail the day before my birthday. We stopped in front of a beautiful hotel and our friend asked that we stand at the front of the boat to get that hotel in the background. We oblige. We take a couple of posed photos and then our friend says, 'Talk amongst yourselves, let me get some action shots.' Just then, my now fiancé starts telling me how much he loves me and how lucky we are to have each other. I'm still unaware of what is really happening. I'm just agreeing, 'Yes we are lucky, I love you too.' Then he drops on his knee and pulls out a little black box. I instantly burst into tears and said yes! He planted the seed four months beforehand with his friend messaging me about this pictures. We are headed back to Mexico to get married in January."

4. A winter wonderland.
While visiting her now-fiancé in Colorado, bride Mandy Stephan found out she and her love were also going on a surprise trip to Manitou Springs. Not long into the trip, she wrote, along with this cute photo, "We rode the railway up to the top of Pike's Peak and had a stranger take our picture in the -15 degree temp. Nick had her move the camera to video on his phone and got down on his knee! I cried, said yes, of course, and then we ran frozen back to ride down to the bottom and enjoy the rest of our trip engaged!"
