Fashion icon and new wife (not to mention our June/July 2014 cover girl!) Olivia Palermo knows a thing or two about bridal style. When she married husband Johannes Huebl in an intimate ceremony in Bedford, New York in June, the fashion-forward bride wore a custom-made Carolina Herrera ensemble, which featured a sweater, shorts, and tulle overskirt.

Her unexpected choice wasn't surprising given Olivia regularly pushes fashion boundaries in her day-to-day life. "Getting ready for a special event, like your wedding day, you have to feel like yourself and dress for your environment," Olivia tells the New York Post of her bridal outfit. "I really wanted to dress like me."

And it looks like her nontraditional bridal style may have inspired other celebs — like Ashlee Simpson who recently married in not one, but two different two-piece ensembles.

And for fans of the fashion-maven's enviable bridal style, we have some great news: You'll likely get to see it all over again. Late last month, Olivia spoke with the Daily Mail Australia and revealed she and Johannes are planning to host another celebration for family and friends who were unable to attend their intimate nuptials.

"You know it was a nice, small quiet day for family and as some point we will do something a little bit bigger," Olivia said.

Whether or not she and Johannes do plan that second reception, don't plan on calling her Mrs. Huebl. Olivia told Hello! Fashion Monthly that she has no intention of changing her name. "I love Palermo and Johannes understands that," Olivia said in an interview. "I can be Mrs. Huebl at home."
