Did you really think that George Clooney, the renegade actor, humanitarian, and newlywed, would really go on a honeymoon? Even though he married barrister fiancée Amal Alamuddin a mere 12 days ago, he's since jumped straight back into work.

First up: A surprise appearance at New York Comic Con during a panel for his next movie, Tomorrowland! Clooney wasn't expected to attend the event due to his recent nuptials and presumed honeymoon, something he referenced after an ovation ended. "It is not lost on me that I'm spending my honeymoon at Comic Con," he joked. "On top of my honeymoon, it is my first Comic Con," he added.

Though it's unclear if his appearance interrupted his post-wedding getaway or if he and Alamuddin even had a honeymoon. There's no word on his new wife's feeling on the work-related trip, but with her equally busy schedule, we're sure she didn't mind!

Speaking of Alamuddin, her makeup artist recently spoke out on how the newlywed got the perfect legs and beauty looks that she showed off all wedding weekend. London-based celebrity makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury dished the secret to Us Weekly. "I used Supermodel Body [shimmer lotion] on her legs, which looked amazing in the pictures," Tilbury said. "It really sort of shapes and contours and highlights her incredible limbs that she has and that worked amazingly because we had quite a few short dresses."

As for Alamuddin's picture perfect smile? "We used a lot of my revolutionary matte lipsticks; we used (a fiery red) Bond Girl, and (a berry tinted rose) Walk of Shame," Tilbury shared.

Tilbury explained the other products she used for the big day. "We used the blushes, the Love Glow blushes to really contour her face and highlight her cheek bones. I gave her a dusty, bronzy kind of glow. We used a little bit of my Sophisticate palette on the eyes and my Full Fat Lashes mascara."

Reem Acra Fall 2015 Wedding Dress

Photo: Brides via Instagram

The name of the game at Reem Acra this season? Flower power, and lots of it. Of course, it wouldn't be a Reem Acra show without lovely lace and feminine silhouettes — which, this Fall 2015 collection, had plenty.

Photo: Brides via Instagram

Called "Let There Be Light," Reem Acra infused current trends (such as crop tops and a touch of color and even a metallic strapless dress, with an Angelina-style slit) with tried-and-true classics. A traditional element, which was a bit surprising from the designer of soft intricately embellished pieces, was richer ball gown skirts. Yet, even for the fuller pieces crafted from thicker fabrics, there was a delicate finish with petals of flowers and shimmering trains made of silk georgette trailing behind.

Every detail was as intricate and ornate has her past collections. The laces were re-embroidered and hand-stitched throughout the bodices and along the hem's edges, while crystal beads created a beautiful bridal glow. Shapes were a bit more revealing, with the slit, as mentioned above, sheer cutouts and exposed corsetry.

Reem Acra Flower Crown Fall 2015

Flower crowns took new meaning with the 'dos at this runway show. Each look was not only outfitted with a plethora of pretty petals, blooms were pinned in the hairdo and as a halo around an actual crown. Even belts were made from the cascading florals!

Monique Lhuillier Purple Ball Gown

Monique Lhuillier is known for her ultra-romantic bridal collections, so if you're a fan of the perennially popular designer's dresses, her latest styles will not disappoint. Her Fall 2015 wedding dress collection is reminiscent of her Spring 2015 looks, but features more of an emphasis on the label's classic ladylike vibe.

While yesterday's sneak peek of the collection showed us a draped, white mermaid wedding dress, colorful fabrics and airy silhouettes made an appearance on the runway, too.

This ethereal light purple ball gown, seen above, is the perfect play off of Monique's pastel palette from last season. But along with the non-traditional bridal hue, the dress features gorgeous embellishments and a modern neckline.

The designer's latest offerings prove that two-piece wedding dresses are still ruling the runways (and aisles)! This lace crop top and tea-length skirt are feminine and romantic, but feature just the right amount of edge.

#NaeemKhan does it again--another amazing collection! #weddingdress #BRIDESFASHIONWEEK #Bridalfashionweek

Naeem Khan has a way with wedding dresses — particularly making each piece look like its one of a kind. And for his Fall 2015 show, which he titled "A Winter Garden," he continued to pull out all of the stops. This year, fringe played a major role in his range. Whether it's the Ostrich feather-hemmed bottom to a beaded mini dress, the silver beaded fringe shift with an illusion neckline, or the scalloped white fringe dress with yet another illusion neckline.

Aside from the dangling metallic beads, though, were plenty of his famed floral motifs — in the form of beads, and threadwork — and intricate embellishments. This collection was a bit more romantic, with twinkling lace bodice topping a tulle mermaid skirt and another drop-waist trumpet with baroque-style beading and, again, the nearly standardized illusion neckline.

And while many of the flower and vine details created a whimsical air, there was plenty of glam in this collection, too, including modern takes on flapper-esque styles (as in, the fringe we raved about above), the many mini Ostrich feather skirts, and the dazzling metallic vertical and circular beads that make us reminisce about the Roaring '20s.

Earlier this week, Blake Lively announced a big update on her end: The former Gossip Girl star is pregnant! And now, she's talking all about having a baby-on-board and the excitement of becoming a mother.

In an essay called "Bringing Up Baby" on her lifestyle-meest-ecommerce site Preserve, Lively shared more photos of her adorable baby bump all the while indulging in all that a first time mother-to-be has on her plate.

"With a new baby on the way there is so much to do!" Mrs. Reynolds wrote alongside a stream of photos from her baby shower. "But before experiencing the joy of 3am screams, seemingly impossible amounts of poop and having a favorite shirt covered in reflux... there are presents to open, onesies to dye, there is cake to serve, advice to be shared and all around celebration to be had. And that we did..."

Then, came a flood of pictures detailing their party. Sparkly apples (just like at Lauren Conrad's wedding) decorated the table, alongside an autumnal bundt cake, orange-and-yellow roses, and multicolor leaves. Lively was all smiles with her friends — two of which are also pregnant — and their children. The friends tie-dyed and decorated onesies together, noshed on delicious eats, and opened presents full of vintage-looking wooden toys. As Lively also mentioned, it looks like they all shared advice to calm any of this first time mom's nerves.

While it seems like Lively is getting ready for baby, we wonder what Mr. Reynolds has been up to?

Everything You Need to Know About Eloping

$

Wedding planning can be overwhelming, which is why more and more couples are choosing to elope. But gone are the days of young couples sneaking out in the middle of the night to secretly wed. These days, elopements are planned weddings with just the two of you. Many brides choose to still hire photographer, buy their dream dress, and jet off to an alluring locale with the officiant of their choice. So what are the rules for this new-found form of nuptials? Our etiquette experts are here to answer all of the common questions about eloping.

If I choose to elope, can I still celebrate with family and friends afterward?
If you're family and friends really want to celebrate with you following your elopement, there's no reason why they can't throw you some sort of reception. However, usually people elope to avoid a big party, so maybe convince your parents to do something more low-key and intimate. If not a formal reception, a house party or nice dinner could be a good way to ring in this new union.

Is it rude to have a small, city hall wedding with no reception if we can afford a bigger celebration?
Not at all, especially if that's what you want! Remember, this is you and your groom's day, it should be about you two and what you want, not what your friends or family are pressuring you to do. If you don't want to field questions from family and friends, though, don't mention until anything after your "I do," and be sure to mark in your announcements that it was an elopement rather than a traditional wedding. This way, they'll feel less left out.

Can We Have a Civil Ceremony Now and a Traditional Wedding Later?

$

There are many reasons why some couples need to have a quick civil ceremony, without the pomp and circumstance. Everything from immigration constraints to military benefits can put a rush order on your "I do." But when you have to hurry the ceremony there's a few people — namely your parents and closest friends — who will likely feel left out. So, what exactly are the rules pertaining to needed legal marriages? Our etiquette experts weigh in to let you know how to handle this logistical necessity.

What should we do if we legally need to have a civil ceremony now, but can't afford a proper wedding? Can we go to city hall but throw a big wedding later on?
You wedding is whatever you want it to be. Because of finances, timing, and life getting in the way, many more couples are holding a civil ceremony, just them two (just look at Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard!), and throwing a larger wedding later on. While a traditional ceremony, after you've already been legal wed may feel like a farce to some, it's of course possible — especially if you'd like to say your vows in front of family and friends, not just in front of the judge at town hall. Just remember, if people begin nagging you about when you're getting married and what your status is, just tell them that you're married but you will be throwing a celebration later on. Some may feel tempted to lie so that the big day feels like the real deal for guests, but you'll inevitably just make them angry. Again, your marriage is whatever you want to make it, having a ceremonial vow-exchange and reception later on is totally acceptable for those with financial or situational constraints.

Fall 2015 Bridal Fashion Week Day 2 Best Looks

Photo: Thomas Iannaccone; John Aquino; George Chinsee; John Aquino

Bridal Fashion Week kicked off in New York City! Designers like Monique Lhuillier, Marchesa, Reem Acra, Carolina Herrera, Amsale, and more will debut their latest wedding dress collections, and Brides Fashion Director Rachel Leonard will be in the front row for every single show. As part of an ongoing fashion week series, Rachel will spotlight her favorite looks from the day to give our readers insider access to the wedding world's most gorgeous gowns. Reem Acra, Claire Pettibone, Monique Lhuillier, and Naeem Khan were some of the standout shows from day two. Here are Rachel's favorite looks from each collection.

Reem Acra (far left): The latest collection from Reem Acra, called "Let There Be Light," focused on highlighting popular bridal trends, like crop tops (seen here), pops of color, and metallic details. This stunning silhouette feels so modern, but still inherently bridal thanks to the touches of lace.

Claire Pettibone (left, center): Gorgeous embroidered lace and boho-styles ruled on Claire Pettibone's bridal runway. We love this sky blue gown, complete with sheer long sleeves, and the perfect addition of metallic details.

Monique Lhuillier (right, center): As always, Monique Lhuillier's newest collection put a huge emphasis on soft, romantic styles. But this two-piece wedding dress is fit for the bride-to-be that loves a little bit of edge mixed into her classic aesthetic.

Naeem Khan (far right): Although Naeem Khan is known for show-stopping wedding dresses, the popular bridal designer also has a way with less conventional styles. Case in point: this ultra-chic two-piece lace ensemble. The sleeveless top and tailored trouser are perfect for the modern bride on her wedding day or at her bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, or reception.

The Disney Channel's first-ever wedding happened last night: Did you watch it? Jessie Prescott (played by Debby Ryan) got married to her dreamy fiancé Brooks (played by Pierson Fode) on the channel's smash hit, Jessie. The title of the episode was fitting, named "There Goes the Bride."

In case you missed it, here's what happened: The whimsical nanny has to tie the knot in virtually one day because the man of her dreams, Brooks, secures a job in Africa and has to travel to his new post in just two days. Fortunately for the blushing bride-to-be, she has a dedicated and incredible bridal team who gets her wedding ensemble ready in a cinch.

The engagement and wedding story developed over four episodes which started airing last month and naturally, Jessie's wedding gown, designed by JLM Couture, has been making its own headlines. Ryan actually had a big influence on what her character would wear for her special day. In a video previewing the episode, she said, "It's very age appropriate. It's modest, it's sweet, it's romantic, and it's traditional. Working with the costume designer on this wedding dress has been a passion of mine."

Jessie's costume designer Jessica Peel Scott also gave the scoop to Yahoo TV. "It just fit the character so perfectly, and the shape was absolutely beautiful on Debby. We tried a bunch of dresses and that one, we just both fell in love with it." The costume designer continued, "I just had tons of magazines we were going through, in just thinking about who Jessie was and where she came from and what would be a good in-between of where she started and where she is now as a character, and what would be pretty. And this one was one of the first ones I picked, and she and I kept going back to it."

The dress's color was also nontraditional. "It's actually a really beautiful blush color, which is really super modern and kind of what's really hip and happening right now in the bridal stuff," Scott added. "We thought that's great, that's a little nod to what's super current, and then the neckline was so pretty and kind of timeless." We agree!

Check out a preview from the episode (and see the wedding dress!) in the below clip.

Sleek lines, smooth fabrics, and fashion-forward silhouettes usually mark Amsale's collections, but texture played a big role in the bridal fashion house's latest designs.

"Luxurious textures run throughout the Amsale collection," the label's inspiration statement explained. "From Lyon Lace to floral jacquards to metallic Chantilly lace. The richness in mixing refined fabrications with Amsale's simple and elegant aesthetic creates a modern regal mood."

A sweetheart ball gown and three-dimensional floral jacquard walked the runway and a ruffled mermaid bottoms with silk flowers on the skirt also made an appearance. Plus, we spotted a voluminous a silk organza ball gown with a lace bodice and blooming appliqués on the skirt.

Another fresh take that surprised us (aside from the prevalence of ball gowns as opposed to Amsale's standard sheaths) was another big-skirted number fashioned from metalic lace. The tiers, gilded exterior, and heavy dose of lace was something we haven't seen from Amsale recently.

From some seriously bridal blooms to the big-time skirts, Amsale took a bit of a turn this season. Want to see the rest of the exciting looks? '90s girls, rejoice: Geri Halliwell A.K.A. Ginger Spice is getting married! The former Spice Girl and her boyfriend Christian Horner, a Formula One boss for Infiniti Red Bull Racing, are engaged after eight months of publicly dating.

The pair, who has known each other for the past five years but just brought their relationship into the limelight this past March, announced their impending nuptials by the books — in the newspaper! According to People Halliwell and Horner took out an ad in the "Forthcoming Marriages" section of the British newspaper The Times this morning to share the happy news of their engagement. "Mr C.E.J Horner OBE and Geri Halliwell, The engagement is announced between Christian, son of Mr and Mrs G.M. Horner and Geraldine daughter of the late Mr L.F. Halliwell and Mrs A. Parkisnon," the happy news reads.

Does the formal announcement sound familiar? Actor Benedict Cumberbatch and his fiancé Sophie Hunter shared word of their engagement the very same way just last week. It seems like some of Britain's most elite engaged celebs don't ming splurging to keep the custom alive (each ad costs around 300 euro or $372).

After the newpaper hit stands, the singer also shared a much less formal (and contemporary) announcement via social media. "Christian and I are delighted to announce that we are engaged! We're both very happy," Halliwell wrote on Twitter.

According to the Daily Mail, Halliwell's representative has nothing but good words to share about the newly-engaged pair. "Everyone is really pleased for them and wish them happiness and good health together for many many years to come."

While there's no word yet on wedding plans, we'd bet that their two daughters from previous relationships (Halliwell has an eight-year-old named Bluebell and Horner has a one-year-old named Olivia) will play important roles in their nuptials. As for entertainment, it should go without saying that we'll be anxiously holding out for word of a Spice Girls performance at the reception.

Expectations vs. Reality: 4 Things That Will Get Even Better After the Wedding Day

Things that Get Better After Wedding

Photo: Getty Images

It's tempting to buy into the hype that your wedding day will be the best day of your life. But the truth is, there are just some things that get even better after your big day, says relationship expert Andrea Syrtash. Here, she identifies four things that will make you oh-so-very-glad you got married.

Sex gets even hotter
"It's true that you may not want to rip your partner's clothes off as much as you did in the past, but when you hook up, sex can be even more fulfilling than it was when you were dating," says Syrtash. "By now, you've learned each other's hot spots and pleasure zones, and you really know and trust each other. What you may have wondered about before can be something you work out together. Little is off-limits and you don't worry about being judged when you express your needs and desires."

Your appreciation for one another grows
"You may have appreciated the gestures your partner did while you were dating, but his loyalty and commitment holds even more weight when you're juggling a busy household together or navigating stressful moments in life, which inevitably arrive in marriage," Syrtash says. "Plus, when you see some of your other friend's partners, you may just appreciate how awesome yours is."

See More: Why Sex Is Vital to a Happy Marriage

The love you feel gets even stronger
"The reality is that falling in love and being in love are different, chemically, in our brains; so don't expect the daily fireworks you had in the first year of dating," says Syrtash. "In many ways, though, your love can grow deeper and stronger through time. And even though you may not want to makeout at all times like you used to, you can still find time for novelty, play and adventure."

You will think your man is even more awesome
"Marriage magnifies everything," explains Syrtash. "Sure, some of your partner's quirks may become more irritating, but your partner's strengths will become even greater as your grow closer. In a good relationship, you grow together. It's amazing to have a partner in crime to live and learn with."

Find Out the Seriously Sweet Things Jennifer Aniston Said About Justin Theroux

$

Wedding rumors? Breakup chatter? All of that is just noise to Jennifer Aniston, who opened up about her love, life, and relationship with fiancé Justin Theroux in her cover story for the new December/January issue of Harper's Bazaar.

She started off the interview by discussing the long road she's taken to get to her current happy place. "I've had more fun post-40 than I can remember, from a work point of view, a physical point of view, a psychotherapeutic point of view," the Friends star told the magazine, adding that she took a break from dating to focus on herself. "It really helped me get to a place where I was more comfortable with myself, truly ready for love and for a partner. The past wasn't 'less than.' It was extremely important to my growth as a woman."

See more: The Most Iconic Brides of All Time

After lightly touching on what we can only assume was a reference to ex-husband Brad Pitt, Aniston called herself "a forgiving person." More adorable, though, was her answer when asked about her creative crush.

"Justin Theroux," she said. "Not only is he a great actor but he's one of the best comedy writers out there. And he directs and paints murals. I just think it's so attractive to be that good at so many things and to have no ego. He's one of the most humble, decent human beings. He's not an ass. He's not like some of our friends who are young and up-and-coming and they hit celebrity, and all of a sudden you're like, 'Oh! You're different. Now you don't say hi to people?'"

Part of her admiration of him is his comfort with the glare of public attention since they embarked on their relationship in April 2011. "He's just been doing it so graciously and gracefully, and it's a strange ballpark to walk into. He's in his body, for sure. He's a pretty realized person."

Though she didn't mention anything about an upcoming wedding (they've been engaged since August 2012), she gushed about their compatibility. "It's almost impossible to get bored with one another," she added. "We've tried so hard! And even that's interesting because his eyes are so pretty, but we can entertain ourselves and talk about endless things, which is pretty great."

A Quick Guide to Wedding Transportation

$
0
0

Transportation is an important yet often-overlooked element of your wedding day — you, your groom, your parents, your wedding attendants, and your wedding guests will all need to figure out a way to get to the wedding venue and back one way or another. And though it may be easiest to assume everyone will just drive themselves, in many situations, that may not be the best (or safest!) idea. Which is why it's a very smart and thoughtful idea to make room in your wedding budget for transportation. Depending on your preferences and budget, there are many different options to consider — to ace your wedding transportation logistics, follow our guide below.

1. The Getaway Vehicle
After you've kissed and the rice has been tossed, you and your new husband will likely hop into a ride and travel to the reception site in style. Though a limousine may be the traditional choice, there are many other unique options that might better suit your wedding style. (Also, you may also want to book the same vehicle to transport you and your father to the ceremony.) Here are some of our favorite ideas:

• Limousine
• Antique car
• Vintage truck
• Horse and carriage
• Tandem bicycle
• Vespa
• Golf cart
• Antique wooden boat
• Taxi
• Pedi-cab

See More: How to Shop for Wedding Transportation

2. Transportation For the Wedding Party
Though you're not required to provide transportation for your bridesmaids and groomsmen, if you can somehow make it work, budget-wise, then offering your attendants a ride throughout the day will be very much appreciated. Here are some group transportation ideas:

• Limousine
• Multiple town cars
• Yellow school bus
• Shuttle bus
• Party bus
• City trolley/streetcar

3. Transportation For the Wedding Guests
If you're hosting a destination wedding, or if your guest list includes many out-of-towners (read: car-less guests), consider providing them with a ride from their hotel to the wedding and back. That way, no one has to worry about navigating an unfamiliar city or choosing designated drivers. Some hotels offer shuttle bus service, so check with yours to see if they'll give you a good rate (sometimes, they'll even offer it for free!). Or, you could go the extra mile with something with character to match your wedding — like a double-decker bus for a city affair (complete with a tour guide pointing out the local sights!). And, at the very least, offer taxi information as an alternative means to get everyone back to their hotel rooms. Here are some other transportation ideas for your wedding guests:

• Hotel shuttle bus
• Independent shuttle/charter bus
• Yellow school bus
• Double-decker sightseeing bus
• City trolley/streetcar

Tips to Avoid Post-Wedding Weight Gain

Photo: Melissa Schollaert

You've heard all about the dreaded "newlywed spread," but you swear it won't happen to you and your spouse, right? Not so fast. Several studies have shown a correlation between getting married and gaining weight. However, if you and the hubs can figure out how to make staying fit fun and work together as a team to accomplish your goals you two can beat the odds together.

Turn grocery shopping into a date
As registered dietitian nutritionist Carlene Thomas RDN of Healthfully Ever After explains, "Grocery shopping is such a 'to-do list' tedious item, making it that much more tempting to push it off and order a high sodium, high-fat take out meal instead." But turns out, it can be fun. Thomas recommends planning meals with your partner you'll be stoked about in advance and head to the store together to buy the ingredients. Then cook dinner together for the night or even prep your meals for the week.

Drink the good stuff
And only on the weekend! "When we know something is high quality, we tend to savor it more," explains NYC-based fitness instructor Erika Shannon. "It's easy to kill a $10 bottle of wine with your pizza, but if it's a $40 bottle you'll want to slow down and get your money's worth." If you absolutely must have a drink during the week, try a mocktail with seltzer as the base or enjoy a nice cup of gourmet tea with some chill music together before bed.

Set a balanced schedule
A couple that sweats together stays at a healthy weight together! "If one person wants to work out and the other wants to relax, it's likely neither one is going to get in those healthy movement hours," explains Thomas. "It's important to set parameters where you can work out together, by either hitting the gym or the trail one night and lounging on the couch the other night. Be a team!"

Look into grocery or meal ingredient delivery
Thomas says time is the biggest hurdle her married clients face in making healthy meals happen on a regular basis. If you can afford it, she suggests looking into pre-planned meal services that deliver fresh ingredients in the exact amounts needed direct to your door, along with easy to follow recipes, so you can whip up a healthy meal at home. "Always have extra veggies in the freezer to bump up the nutrition power too."

An Elegant Clubhouse Wedding in Bridgehampton, New York

Though Kaitlin Powers and Clint Siegfried have known each other for years, it wasn't until a group ski trip to Vail in 2011 that sparks flew. "We started dating the week we got back," says Kaitlin. When Clint popped the question a year and a half later on Mattituck Beach in Nantucket, the pair knew that a seaside celebration was in the cards. "We both spent summers in Southampton growing up," says Kaitlin, "and wanted to get married somewhere that spoke to us and our families."

They decided to say "I do" on September 14, 2013 at the Basilica Parish of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Southampton, New York, then hosted an elegant '20s-inspired reception for 230 guests on the lawn at the Bridgehampton Club, planned by Claire Bean Events. "The love was palpable," says Kaitlin. "It was amazing!"

Keep reading to see all of the beautiful details, captured by Allan Zepeda and Robert Wagner.

Kaitlin ended up choosing the first wedding dress she tried on, an Alençon lace fit-and-flare design with a keyhole back by Monique Lhuillier that she topped with a tulle overskirt.

The bride kept her accessories simple, wearing a lace-edged veil and white satin Jimmy Choo pumps. That sparkling clutch? "I bought it from a street vendor on New York's Upper East Side!" Kaitlin laughs.

Clint's Tiffany & Co. wedding band was engraved with the couple's initials and wedding date.

Kaitlin's bridesmaids wore green dupioni silk dresses by Alfred Sung, paired with gold snakeskin-embossed stilettos.

A classic look called for a classic bouquet. Kaitlin's was white and soft green, featuring garden roses, hydrangeas, and hypernicum berries.

The flower girl and ring bearer both wore white, with soft green accents. "When the flower girl got to the end of the aisle with petals left in her basket, she tried to give a handful of them to the groom," says Kaitlin. "Clint was getting a little nervous and emotional, so she definitely helped lighten the mood!"

The ceremony was traditionally Catholic. "The church is one of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen, so it didn't require much decoration," says the bride. The couple added a white aisle runner with their monogram in gold.

After the ceremony, the wedding party headed to the nearby beach for photos.

Guests sipped the couple's signature "Southside" (gin, mint, and lime juice) and indulged in a bacon station (Clint's personal request!) during cocktail hour. Kaitlin removed the tulle overskirt of her dress for a sleeker evening look. "I loved being able to customize the dress and really make it mine," she says.

Escort cards were displayed by the entrance to the clubhouse, on a table decorated with hydrangeas and white and green tulips.

The reception took place in a dramatic wood-floored tent pitched on the club's croquet court. "We wanted it to feel elegant and magical, with a rustic twist on a Gatsby theme." Neutral linens were dressed up with gold-edged chargers, mercury glass vases, and lush white and green arrangements of roses and hydrangeas.

"The food was amazing," says Kaitlin. Guests chose between Chilean sea bass and filet mignon, getting up to dance between courses.

One reason to get off the dance floor? The couple's crème fraîche and French vanilla wedding cake, topped with fresh hydrangeas. But the second they were done eating, everyone was back to boogieing. "The band was fantastic," the bride says. "My brothers were having crazy dance-offs all night!"

The next morning, Clint and Kaitlin took off for their honeymoon in Hualalai, Hawaii. "I'm so glad we were able to get a few moments alone during our wedding," says Kaitlin, "but it was great to go straight to our honeymoon and to be able to enjoy those first days of marriage!"

Just when we thought we knew everything there was to know about Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg's August nuptials, there's more! Turns out the two lovebirds are set to star in their own reality docu-series on A&E Network about newlywed life and the season's premiere will chronicle — you guessed it — their recent wedding.

The series will be called Donnie Loves Jenny, Us Weekly reports, and will be broken into 10 separate episodes which will follow McCarthy and Wahlberg's transition into life as man and wife. As mentioned previously, the series premiere will be a hour-long look into their big day, including a pretty hilarious moment when McCarthy tried to peck her soon-to-be hubby before their officiant said they could. The following nine episodes will only be 30 minutes long.

The couple expressed their excitement in a joint statement about the new show: "Not only have we found a new home together, we have found the perfect place for our exciting new projects to live with A∓E Network. We're so excited about this deal and look forward to a long and successful relationship creating entertaining and provocative unscripted programming with our partners at A&E. Our feeling is, who better to make our first show for the network about than about us? We love working together and with our crazy schedules this gives us the chance to both work and play together."

We're just as excited, especially to get a better look at their lavish 90-guest event just outside of Chicago this past summer. We'll be watching you two!

What's the Appropriate Age for a Flower Girl or Ring Bearer?

Including children in your wedding is a must. Not only do the little ones make for some adorable photo ops, but they also have a big responsibility: Typically they carry those very important wedding rings down the aisle or prep the aisle with pretty petals for your grand entrance. But what's the appropriate age for your flower girl or ring bearer? After all, you don't want a crying baby disrupting the ceremony or a kid who refuses to walk down the aisle when the time comes.

How young is too young for a flower girl or ring bearer? My nephew is only two and half years old, but I'd love to include him!

This is a question that pops up time after time again. Usually flower girls and ring bearers range from ages three to eight years old. But don't let that stop you from giving those roles to someone younger. Keep in mind, though, that the younger the child, the more unpredictable his or her behavior will be. Your two-and-half-year-old nephew, in this case, is probably more prone to throw a tantrum than a well-behaved five year old. An easy solution? Ask your nephew's mom or dad to accompany him down the aisle or to be there to assist if anything goes awry. You know your nephew best so if you think he can walk on his own, let him.

And remember: What's the worst that can happen? A little one's quirkiness is what makes him or her cute in the first place! Your guests will enjoy themselves either way.

Brides Michigan: The Perfect Countryside Venue for Your Wedding

One of the most popular trends in the wedding world right now? Tying the knot in a renovated barn. Not only are these venues absolutely breathtaking, but they also offer plenty of space for large weddings, yet they can still feel intimate for smaller fêtes. Plus, they come equipped with tons of style that you just can't get in a more traditional venue. And one of the most spectacular barn venues, The Blue Dress Barn, is located right in Benton Harbor, Michigan (conveniently located only 15 minutes from bustling and beautiful Saint Joseph).

The property, which was renovated and restored in 2000, features gorgeous lawns, a 4,600 square foot open timber barn, and decks overlooking the vast gardens, all of which are perfect sites for your wedding ceremony and reception.

The Blue Dress Barn has rentals available from noon to midnight and can accommodate up to 280 guests inside the barn, which is romantically lit with elegant wrought iron chandeliers. Start with an outdoor ceremony between two towering silos before moving the party into the historic barn for an evening of dining and dancing.

And while the venue itself is absolutely breathtaking, hosting a wedding at The Blue Dress Barn comes with some serious perks. Not only does it include all of your tables and chairs (a rarity among barn venues, which generally require the bride and groom to bring everything in themselves), the owners also provide tables for your cake and place cards, DJ and catering stations, an outdoor firepit, and twinkle lights or paper lanterns to adorn your space.
