Do you think I can wear heels for my beach wedding? —Courtney Turnbull, Facebook
Dear Courtney,
Great question. Heels can do wonders for a wedding dress: They lengthen your look and also make your posture absolutely perfect for photos. But heels and sand? That could be a recipe for disaster! I suggest looking into some great wedges or chic flats for your wedding. I absolutely love the Jimmy Choo Bello wedge. (One of our clients is wearing them with this Anna Sui wedding dress, available at BHLDN, for her wedding in Jamaica later this month.) However, if you are set on wearing heels, I pulled a few stylish picks (above) with sturdy, shorter heels that may be easier to walk in. I also added some Alice & Olivia flats with a rhinestone bow back that are uber-chic and the perfect mix of sensibility and style. Happy shoe shopping!
Jacqueline's Picks:
1. Alice & Olivia Dakota Flats, $195, available at ShopBop (top left and bottom right).
2. Giltweaving Heels, $240, available at BHLDN (top right).
3. Bright Flight Heels, $240, available at BHLDN (bottom left).
