To celebrate Jennifer Aniston's engagement to Justin Theroux, Brides asked some of the biggest names in bridal design to sketch wedding dresses befitting everyone's favorite 'Friend.'
"Jennifer is a classic beauty," says Alfred Angelo designer Michael Shettel, who imagined this bias-cut lace gown from his Modern Vintage collection for the newly engaged star. "Body skimming silhouettes and soft colors play off her skin tone, while bringing out her demure persona and highlighting her amazing body." Shettel channeled the understated looks Aniston typically chooses for her red carpet events by combining a charmeuse under slip and a sheath of elegant lace panels cut into a v-neck with cap sleeves. The result is the kind of dress Shettel says belongs in a "casual outdoor wedding with an intimate group of family and friends" dotted by monochromatic flowers in shades of ivory, white, and the palest pink. Bridesmaids dresses, which are also a part of the Alfred Angelo line, would be cast in a dusty hue of gossamer chiffon paired with groomsmen in a casual, light-colored suit.
