"Andrew and I wanted our wedding to be an upscale barbecue," says Jennifer, who planned the event with the help of Carin Lomax of Events Extraordinaire. The bride wore an Anjolique gown from White Swan Bridal, in Vienna, VA. Andrew wore a khaki suit from Leesburg Bridal & Tuxedo and a paisley tie.

Jennifer wore her mother's veil. Her chignon, styled by Donnell Robinson of Gustavo Cosmetics & Skincare, was adorned with bright blue delphiniums. Jennifer's bouquet also featured delphiniums, along with dahlias and daisies. All floral design was by Gathered Stems.

Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast Inn, which is located near the village where the couple got engaged. The outdoor ceremony featured both Jewish and Christian traditions, as well as music from the Sage String Trio. As the newlyweds exited the ceremony, their 120 guests were invited to blow bubbles to celebrate.

After a cocktail hour featuring the couple's signature drink, Lynchburg lemonade, everyone headed inside the inn for the reception. Tables featured gingham tablecloths rented from Windows Catering. The white chocolate wedding cake, also by Windows Catering, was decorated with yellow gingham ribbon and fresh flowers.

Bright floral centerpieces in galvanized buckets adorned each table. Also on display: Tiles featuring photos of the inn. "Andrew and I wanted to give our guests a piece of the Briar Patch and of ourselves," says Jennifer. "So we took some photographs of the Inn and spent several months printing and transferring them onto tiles to place on tables and give as favors."

The couple performed their first dance to "Ain't That Love" by Ray Charles. Guests (including the bridesmaids, who wore pink Alfred Angelo dresses from Leesburg Bridal & Tuxedo) danced to a wide variety of tunes performed by the band Doctor's Orders. "'Sweet Caroline' was a big hit," says Jennifer. "Andrew and I loved singing with the band!"
