Locals in tennis star Andy Murray's hometown, the Scottish town of Dunblane, are making preparations for his nuptials to longtime love Kim Sears this weekend, and they are akin to those of the Royal Wedding! The happy pair arrived in Dunblane today for their rehearsal to much fanfare, with signs, banners on the high street, heart-shaped burgers in restaurants, and even special "Kim's Big Day Sausages" on sale in celebration of the much-anticipated union.

The minister officiating the Wimbeldon champ and Olympic gold medalist's wedding even noted its importance to Dunblane. According to Daily Mail, he said this is "the nearest we'll have in recent times to a royal wedding."

"This is very special. Andy is one of Dunblane's own and there's genuine affection and pride in Andy, and there'll be a great affection for Kim too, I know," Reverend Colin Renwick continued.

The couple of nine years looked cool, calm, and casual as they arrived for the rehearsal. That's likely to change tomorrow, when thousands of well-wishers are expected show up outside the cathedral for the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

No further details about the actual wedding have been leaked, except for the fact that planners were spotted carrying trees into the cathedral today (similar to the Royal Wedding's ceremony décor!). Of course, the town made one more preparation before welcoming Murray and his bride home — they touched up the paint on his gold post box, which was originally painted in honor of his 2012 Olympic Gold medal, to make sure it's extra shiny for the celebration. We can't wait to see how the rest of the wedding details unfold!
