There's no doubt that men and women are different. There are a multitude of things that men simply do not understand despite our incessant efforts to explain. We're not sure if they simply do not "get it" or if their lack of experience with things we struggle with day-in and day-out render them incapable of it. Nevertheless, we've picked out 10 things that would make marriage so much easier were men to understand them.

1. Multitasking is in our DNA.
For some reason, we're just really good at juggling many things at one time. We can watch Sex and the City reruns while working from home, taking each commercial break to paint our toenails. That makes it incredibly frustrating for us when you're entranced in Sunday football and can't get any chores done.

2. Waxing is not one of our favorite pastimes.
Our legs and other more private parts aren't smooth and soft to the touch by some miracle. We have to wax all of our hair off which we've grown accustomed to, but doesn't really get any less painful as the years go on.

3. We love sex just as much as you do.
It's not something that we're simply doing to please you — believe it or not pleasing ourselves is high on our to-do list.

4. We want men to be proactive and creative when it comes to how we spend time together.
Candy is nice and flowers are even nicer, but we love it when you guys take time and figure out really fun and unique things we can do together.

5. Don't rush us to get ready.
Have you ever taken a long hot bath or rubbed yourself down with sweet-smelling oil after hopping out of the shower? Well, if you haven't, then you should try both immediately — they're unbelievably fun. These things are just a few reasons why we often take forever to get ready.

6. We sometimes give you a hard time, but we genuinely love you.
We're really hard on you guys because we're hard on ourselves. Though we may bicker, ask a slew of questions, and not always "get" you, we truly do love you.

7. Just listen.
Sometimes we just need to vent. Not because we need advice or are confused about what to do, but because we need a safe space to spill out all of our feelings to someone we trust. Even throw in a hug and "You're gonna get through this" when we're done for good measure.

8. We can be commitment phobes too.
There are a few men who we fantasize about snagging at first sight (hello Sexiest Man Alive), but we don't expect such an overwhelming feeling in everyday life. Though it's a common misconception, many of us actually have issues with commitment and vulnerability.

9. Take time to learn our bodies.
The standard kissing and touching is no problem for us, but we all like different things. Our bodies really are a wonderland, so please do explore them!

10. Learn how to communicate and don't be passive aggressive.
If you're having an issue, just come out with it. Honesty is key in a marriage.
