Spanish bridal powerhouse Pronovias — known for its elegant tailoring, exquisite detail work, and one-of-a-kind runway shows held every year in Barcelona — is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. To commemorate a half-century of creating couture-like wedding dresses, the design house released its first-ever book, 50 Years Dressing Dreams, filled with famous brides and models wearing their stunning creations through the decades.

A family company, once owners of a famed silk, lace, and embroidery store in Barcelona called El Suizo, Pronovias officially became the bridal name stay that it is today in 1964 with its first runway show. And since runway shows have been a large part of the brand from the start, Pronovias has had a slew of famous faces attend their shows — such as Bar Rafaeli, Francesca Eastwood, Petra Nemcova — and even more glossy and runway regulars represent the brand. Not to mention a venerable list of famed fashion designers within the company throughout the years like fellow evening-wear masters Emanuel Ungaro, Valentino, Badgley & Mischka, Manuel Mota and Elie Saab.
For its romantic campaigns, Pronovias has enlisted models like Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes. But with the launch of this book, though, Pronvias chose Czech supermodel Karolína Kurková to be their 50th anniversary ambassador. Donning some of the most iconic Pronovias styles, her photo shoot for this hardcover steals the entire volume's show.
