Talk about a race to the altar! Just last week we learned that Marc Anthony proposed to model Shannon de Lima in March, but now the Associated Press confirms the two stars are officially husband and wife!
Anthony and Lima married yesterday in an intimate ceremony at his private residence in the exclusive Casa De Campo resort, located in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Only 100 of their closest family and friends witnessed their nuptials. According to Us Weekly the small guest list included Latin music stars Juan Luis Guerra, Carlos Vives, Tito El Bambino, along with Anthony's business partner Charles Koppelman and the CEO of Spring Corporation Marcelo Claure.
While unconfirmed, we'd bet that the couple's children — Anthony has four children from his first marriage to Dayanara Torres and twins from his second marriage to Jennifer Lopez, while De Lima has a son from a previous relationship — were all in attendance.

Lopez, whom Anthony was still legally married to at the time when he proposed to De Lima, has nothing but good things to say about her ex-husband and his new wife. "I'm happy for him," Lopez told the New York Daily News last week.
And though Anthony has been unlucky in love before, he seems hopeful that his third marriage will go the distance. "God has blessed me in so many ways. Material things go, but so far. Success goes, but so far, but when your house is empty and you don't have someone to invest in — if you don't have a witness, it's almost worthless," he told Wendy Williams in February.
