Sure, their wedding was over three years ago, but that doesn't mean fans of Prince William and Kate Middleton are done obsessing over their royal nuptials. Case in point: You can now own a slice of their iconic wedding (pun intended).
According to the Daily Mail, a new auction at Julien's auction house in Beverly Hills, California will be offering several pieces of royal memorabilia as part of a special sale this December. While the main draw will be several garments from Princess Diana's personal collection, there's one special addition that's meant to sweeten the deal — a slice of Will and Kate's wedding cake from their April 29, 2011 celebration.

The towering, eight-tiered fruitcake adorned with the couple's new cipher and tons of floral details, including 17 different types of flowers and foliage, was created by British baker Fiona Cairns. The white confection worthy of a future king and queen took a whopping five weeks to complete.
The question is how much would you be willing to pay for a slice of three-year old fruitcake? The Daily Mail reports that royal-watchers are likely to spend around $2,000 for the single slice of dessert! The price tag seems reasonable considering a 33-year-old slice of Prince Charles and Princess Diana's wedding cake sold for $1,375 just last month (although, according to the Telegraph, the unknown bidder was warned not to try and eat the three-decades old confection.)
And if that piece of royal wedding memorabilia isn't enough to spark your interest, a blank invitation to their fairytale nuptials will be up for grabs, too.
