When it comes to your wedding centerpieces, remember to inject a little personality and creativity. So much of your wedding is focused on your style and taste that it's more than okay to think outside of the classic flowers-in-a-vase look. If you feel like you want your centerpieces to make a statement — do it! After all, some of our awesome Facebook followers certainly did. We asked them to share photos of their centerpieces, and the results were totally unique. Here, we highlighted a few of our favorites for your wedding inspiration and viewing pleasure.
Nautical Chic and Everything Nice: Lanterns are ideal components of centerpieces. Not only do they like pretty, but they also serve a practical purpose for evening weddings. Bride Stephanie Frady took this to heart when creating hers (top left), which incorporate a seaside-chic wooden lantern with fresh white flowers and greenery. Along with table numbers and navy blue linens, the overall effect is perfect for a seaside-inspired wedding.
Make Like a Tree and Bloom: The arrangement at top right, which bride Mallarie Cash featured at her reception, is an insanely cool take on the traditional floral centerpiece thanks to its tree trunk-inspired base! It looks neat and certainly made for a great conversation piece.

When in Doubt, Get Glittering: Bride Marina Zurcher DIY'ed the glittery gold bottles seen in the photo at bottom right. By pairing these glitzy items with simple flowers like baby's breath and pink roses in mason jars, she managed to make a homespun wedding feel utterly glamorous.
Don't Be Afraid to Get Rustic: We're big fans of wedding details that bring the outdoors in (and hey, so is Kate Middleton!). That's why we approve of bride Trish Tawfik's centerpiece (bottom left). We love the organic way that the branches bring flowers to a new height, and the suspended candles feel especially romantic.
