Brides beauty columnist Drew Barrymore — actress, producer, and founder of Flower Beauty — is here to answer your questions. This time, she's covering wedding day blemishes, tips for making your eyes pop, and how to manage unruly flyaways.

Q: I don't want to jinx it, but if a blemish decided to pop up on my wedding day, what's the best way to cover it up?
Drew Barrymore: Use a creamy concealer over your foundation (or bare skin if you choose not wear foundation). Then comes the important part: Once you've covered it up, anchor it with powder. When you drink or kiss people on the cheek or go about your wedding day, the coverage is liable to move, revealing your spot. But a good pressed powder (not loose!), patted on with a sponge or your finger (not a bush!), will lock it in. PS: Fingers crossed for good skin, but it's your wedding. Everyone's looking for your smile, not a pimple!
Try: Invisible Pressed Setting Powder, $32, Laura Mercier; Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Waterproof Concealer, $22, Tarte

Q: Do you have any techniques I can try to make my eyes look bigger?
DB: Yes! Put eyeliner along top and bottom waterlines. Then — and here's the trick — put it in the upper inside corner of your eye and, if you can, drag it all the way across on top. Outline the inside almost shape of your eyes will always make them look bigger.

Q: I want to do a sleek updo, but I always get flyaways. How do you flatten them without making your hair stiff?
DB: I have a great hairdressers' trick for this. Get a can of hairspray and a toothbrush. Spray the bristles of the brush, then use it to smooth your flyaways into place. Test out some sprays. A good one won't make your style look cemented, and the tiny, nimble brush can get even your baby hairs where you need them to go.
Try: Sheer Hold Hairspray, $20, Fekkai
