Remember that summer you wore electric yellow nail polish for two months? How about the year you wouldn't leave the house without an intricate nail art creation? (We're looking at you, 2012.) Every year as the weather warms up, girls start rocking extra-bold nail colors. And not that we don't love flashy nails, but neon may not be the most bridal of color families. That doesn't mean you have to stick to pale pink for your wedding, though! There are plenty of red-hot summer options that look just right with a wedding gown. We found the season's best wedding-ready shades for brides-to-be.

If you like reds ... try raspberry.
It's just as bold and statement-making as a red nail. Plus, berry pink happens to look just perfect with a bouquet of fresh, bright summer blooms.
Try: Jin Soon Nail Polish in Cherry Berry, $18, available at Jin Soon

If you like nudes ... try apricot.
Beige and light pink polishes look great year-round, but a warmer peachy nude looks incredible against bronzed summer skin — and against an ivory wedding gown.
Try: Dolce and Gabbana The Nail Lacquer in Nude, $25, available at Sephora

If you like pinks ... try strawberry
There's something about a warm, slightly fruity pink that just screams for a barefoot beach ceremony, a bright tropical bouquet, and plenty of ice-cold blended drinks. But, unlike its splashier Barbie-pink cousins, it isn't one bit in your face.
Try: OPI Sorry I'm Fizzy Today, $6, available at Amazon

If you like brights ... try coral
Save your neon polishes for the honeymoon and go for a punchy coral for the aisle. Bold, orange-based shades look great against a white bouquet without being one bit overwhelming. They also warm up your skin tone.
Try: RGB Polish in Monarch, $18, available at RGB

If you like grays ... try powder blue
It has all the versatility of a neutral and the pretty femininity of a petal pink, but feels totally fresh. And you can knock "something blue" off your list instantly!
Try: Essie Polish in Find Me An Oasis, $8, available at Amazon

If you like to mix it up ... try jade
The muted gray-green is at once modern, whimsical, and thoroughly bridal. Wear it with a succulent-filled bouquet as you get hitched on a mountaintop, and admire its cool, flattering hue as you sip on the unexpected, masterfully blended signature cocktail you invented.
Try: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Jaded, available at Target
