If you and your groom love to travel, or perhaps you're throwing a destination wedding, share your love of globe-trotting with your guests by incorporating a travel theme into your table numbers and signs. Not only is it a major upgrade from the traditional table cards, but it's also a fun (and effortless) way to personalize your dinner reception. Plus, the clever signs are guaranteed conversation-starters. To help you get inspired for your own nuptials, here are nine of the most creative travel-themed table numbers and signs we're loving right now:
Chalkboard Sign (above): Name each dinner table after a city you've traveled to together (and add a sketch of a local landmark!).

Vintage Postcards: Collect postcards from cities you love and display them in a clever way, like tucked into these rope monkey's fists, which matched the couple's nautical-themed wedding.

Map Numerals: Cover oversize numerals with colorful maps and prop them up in the middle of each dinner table.

Airport Codes: This couple decided to get married in an airplane hangar and named each table after different airport codes (this one's the Manila International Airport in the Philippines!).

Flags & Local Booze: Love to travel and drink? Create signs bearing the flag of each country you've visited together and anchor it to a bottle of locally made wine, beer, or other booze.

Latitude & Longitude: Research the coordinates of your favorite places in the world and carve them into wooden signs. This couple decided to name each dinner table after a beach they'd been to together.

Pennants: For an easy DIY project, name each table after a favorite destination and cut them out as pennant-shaped flags; glue each flag to a thin wooden dowel and display them in the center of each table.

Globes: Collect vintage globes to display as centerpieces and name them after countries you've visited (or plan to visit!). These custom globes are by Wendy Gold's Imagine Nations.

Luggage Tags & Mini Suitcases: This couple named their tables after different cities where the groom, a naval aviator, was stationed during their long-distance relationship. The signs were designed to resemble luggage tags and were displayed alongside flowers arranged in mini suitcases.
