You're married and now it's time for the honeymoon! Whether you're going on an exotic safari in South Africa or relaxing on the beach in Aruba, the honeymoon is the first time to really relax and enjoy alone time with your brand-new spouse. Like everything else related to weddings, though, there are some crucial etiquette guidelines to follow when planning and enjoying your post-wedding getaway. But don't stress about them! We found the answers to three important questions that all brides and grooms will wonder. Read on to find out how to vacation the right way!

What should I pack?
For beach honeymoons (the most popular), here's what to pack: For daytime, you'll need a couple of cute bikinis, two shorts, three nice T-shirts, a great cover-up (stylish enough to wear to lunch), and flip-flops. For evening, you'll want two nice dresses, a cute clutch, and stylish sandals. And seriously — that's it. Don't be afraid to repeat outfits, beach vacations are generally low-key.

All that (plus your toiletries and pajamas) can easily fit into a standard, 14 inch x 9 inch x 22 inch carry-on suitcase. Avoid the temptation of over-packing, and you'll save money (it typically costs $25 to check in your first bag, $40 for your second) and time.

I just started a new job and don't have a lot of vacation time saved up for a honeymoon. What do I do?
This happens to a lot of couples in the vacation-day starved USA. Look into taking a "mini-moon" (a two to three day trip) Sunday through Tuesday at a local hotel or inn where you can just chill and catch up on sleep; make it into a "manymoon" of multiple vacations, and you'll really have something to look forward to. Or, hop over to a city that's no more than two-three hours by plane — someplace cool and couples-friendly (with regular airlift) that you've always wanted to visit. For example, Las Vegas works for West Coasters; Austin is great if you're from the Midwest; Charleston and New Orleans are perfect if you're from the East Coast or South. And look at the bright side: You'll already know to set aside five-plus days for a longer honeymoon next year and you'll have extra time to save for it.

Will my picky eating be a problem?
If you suffer from a food allergy, not to worry. After booking, resorts and cruise lines will typically ask if either you or your husband have dietary needs or allergies, and most are sensitive to dietary restrictions. For example, Fairmont hotels worldwide have vegan, gluten-free and macrobiotic dishes on all their menus. Another tip, particularly for city-bound honeymooners: Ask your concierge what area restaurants will work with your diet. If you're just a picky eater, part of the fun in traveling is trying new things, particularly when it comes to food. Don't be afraid to break out and taste something new!
