We Asked, You Told: The Most Creative Wedding Shoes on Facebook and Twitter!

Now, more than ever, brides are expressing themselves from the bottom up with funky, unique heels, flats and sandals that go way beyond the classic white wedding shoe. We're always looking for new ways to slip into something festive, so we reached out to our fabulous Facebook and Twitter followers to find out what shoes they wore down the aisle! From high-end designers (Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo are overwhelming favorites) to fun pops of color (something blue, anyone?), we rounded up up the most creative wedding shoes submitted by our faithful fans!

For starters, there's the coral-colored heels from BHLDN seen above. Facebook user Katie O'Donnell found them so comfortable that she kept them on all night! We're particularly digging her husband's matching socks — such a sweet way to tie together the bride and groom looks.

Why sacrifice comfort for style when you can have both? Twitter user @shirleyau got custom white Converse sneakers made for herself and her new husband with blue "bride" and "groom" stitching on the backs. It's personal, fun, fashion-forward and super comfy.

We told you that Christian Louboutin is a bridal footwear favorite! Facebook user Jenn Ramos indulged her fashionista side on her wedding with these sky-high, hot pink Louboutin stilettos (which match that YSL clutch perfectly).

Jani, the woman behind the blog My Newlywed Nest, tweeted a photo of her beautiful heels, a pair of lilac Badgley Mishcka peeptoe shoes, which she appropriately calls her "babies."

We're always looking for great shoes to wear to a beach wedding. Facebook user Sara Crowe may have hit the jackpot with her multicolor, woven wedges that fit her Mexican surroundings like a glove.
