Jennifer Morrison Wedding Hair Idea

It looks like Once Upon a Time actress Jennifer Morrison has been drawing inspiration from her on-screen persona, because she was quite ethereal and princess-like at the Monte Carlo Film Festival last week. From her halo braid to her shimmery makeup, it's a feminine beauty look fit for royalty — that, or, you know, your summer wedding. Here, how to get her gorgeous look for your big day.

Halo Braid:
A braid is the easiest way to technically wear your hair down for your wedding while still keeping it out of your face. (A huge plus? You won't have to worry about losing volume throughout the day.) Comb your hair into a deep side part and blow dry with a large round brush. When your locks are fully dry, work in a bit of texturizing spray so your hair isn't too slippery to braid. Create one French braid at the crown, pinning and tucking it just above your ear.
Try: Blow Pro Text Style Dry Texture Spray, $19.75, available at Ulta

Shimmery Eyes:
Morrison skipped the traditional smoky eye and went for silver eye makeup instead. (You can use any neutral metallic; we love champagne and gold, too.) Apply a light layer to your lids, in the corners and on the lower lash lines. Pat cream concealer under dark circles — it's a simple and subtle step that really helps to brighten your eyes.) Add a bit of definition with a thin line of black liquid eyeliner on your upper lids. For sky high lashes, finish with an eyelash curler and two coats of mascara.
Try: Sephora Collection Colorful Palette in Smoky Black, $24, available at Sephora; Lorac Front of the Line Pro eyeliner, $23, available at Ulta; Revlon Eyeash Curler, $3.99, available at Drugstore.com; Maybelline New York Define-A-Lash Waterproof Volume Mascara, $6.39, available at Amazon; Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agena Concealer Palette, $10.49, available at Target

Lightly Bronzed Cheeks:
You don't need an allover tan to have glowing skin; a fact Morrison perfectly demonstrates with her porcelain complexion and sun-kissed cheeks. Take time to create an even base with liquid foundation and pay special attention to covering redness at the corners of your nose. Apply a peach bronzer — a stain will provide lasting coverage in hot climates — to just the apples of your cheeks for a natural, radiant glow. Dust translucent powder on your T-zone to set in place.
Try: Bare Minerals Bareskin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation, $29, available at Sephora; Tarte Cheek Stain in Blissful, $30, available at Tarte; Neutrogena Translucent Oil-Control Powder, $12.99, available at Ulta

Peach Lipstick:
Use your finger to apply a moisturizing, shimmery pink or coral lipstick. A little makeup artist trick? Add a bit of cream highlighter to your cupid's bow (that curved area in the middle of your upper lip) to add shimmer and make your lips look fuller.
Try: Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine in 15 Corail Intuitive, $35, available at Sephora; Pixi by Petra Glow to Go Luminous Face Balms, $25, available at Pixi by Petra
