This season, Amsale's bridal runway show had a distinctly airier feel: The house's signature minimalist creations were refreshed with the addition of light fabrics and delicate appliqués. Sheer trains, a nearly see-through tulle overskirt, and ethereal peplums walked the runway in effortless style.
The most distinct new detail at this season's Amsale bridal fashion week show? The sheerest illusion necklines. These on-trend necklines were so thin, and hosted such fine appliqués, that they created the effect of floating embellishments. Other fun new additions to the bridal house's repertoire were unexpected colors like soft pinks and vanilla.
Despite the new additions, Amsale stayed true to the aesthetic we've come to know and love — clean lines complemented by simple design.
"Always classic, with a love of simplicity and cleanliness, this spring the Amsale bride dreams of a world of understated glamour," Amsale's inspiration statement read. "With a soft edge and delicate hand, sheerness and a touch of color create a sense of chic romance... Illusion necklines are refreshingly updates as a single delicate layer of ivory tulle sensuously extends beyond strapless bodices."
The result was a collection as romantic as ever, that still managed to be so modern.
