Each season we attend bridal fashion week with our eyes peeled for emerging wedding dress trends. This Spring 2015 season, five especially stood out among a variety of designers: off-the-shoulder necklines, new colors, convertible tulle skirts, capes, and collars.
Off-the-shoulder necklines were spotted on designer like Marchesa, Jenny Packham, and Monique Lhuillier's runways. The draped sleeve is not only romantic, it offers a fresh take on the cap-sleeve, one-shoulder and illusion neckline trend of season's past. As for the new hues? Designers like Monique Lhuillier and Hayley Paige ditched blush, champagne, and ivory for moodier blues, grays, and green. Capes and collars offer chic and regal options for brides to cover up, while tulle over-skirts give girls a built-in reception dress and extra volume for the wedding ceremony.
