Reem Acra skillfully blends trendy, sexy, and timeless details into every wedding dress she designs — and the way all of those elements came together in her Spring 2015 bridal collection was pure magic. Her latest line is filled with slimming silhouettes, romantic lace, and sweeping skirts. According to the designer's inspiration statement, the goal was to make a dress for every bride.

"Diversity of fabrication offers many choices for the bride," she wrote. "Stretch duchess satin, new for spring, creates an air of seduction and allure, while layers of tulle evoke timelessness and ethereal drama. Silk chiffon adds a vintage edge to the modern dress, while silk gazar gives a nod to the more traditional girl."

Acra also kept the importance of silhouette close to heart as she dreamed up these gowns. "Options in silhouette abound in the collection, ranging from narrow crepe columns, through sweeping circular cascades of chiffon. Flatting fit and flare, along with more traditional ball gown shapes, allow a bride to fulfill her utmost fantasies."

Anyone looking at Acra's newest gowns will notice the abundance of strategic detailing. "Lastly, and most importantly the intricate and extravagant embroidery detail, a tradition started by, and now expected, in any Reem Acra collection, surpass any girl's wish list. Bodice, skirt, and train appliques, accented with pearls and crystal, make a breathtaking entrance for the bride on her special day."

The result of these factors is a line of ultra-feminine, romantic gowns. Acra kept her collection exciting by using unexpected combinations of fabrics (crepe and illusion? We love it!), deploying crystals on long sleeves, and appliqués galore.
