Brides: We can't stop liking your photos on Instagram because every wedding is so beautiful, but also so unique to the couple! What do you feel is the hallmark of a Brooke Keegan wedding?
Brooke: The hallmark of a Brooke Keegan wedding is all in the details and personalization! I think it is so important to personalize your wedding with every little detail so your guests say, "This is so them," or "Of course they have this, it is their favorite!" My clients really like that my events are truly unique and representative of the couple. Getting to know the couple at a very personal level helps me design and propose all the fun elements that make up the most memorable experience, not only for them, but for their guests as well.

Brides: What inspired each of the Brides Live Wedding décor boards?
Brooke: I love designing weddings and events that are fun, unique and different, but are still classic. You want to look back at your photos several years from now and love what you designed and still feel that it is timeless. When designing the Brides Live Wedding boards, I wanted to do just that while also incorporating some of this year's most popular trends. I also wanted each board to be completely different. Since the winning décor is voted on by the fans, I wanted to see what direction America would go in. I can't wait to find out!
Brides: Not that our brides will have this problem, but what advice do you have for brides that can't settle on one theme or overarching design concept?
Brooke: If you are having trouble, go back to your interests and things you love to determine what that is: How is your house decorated? What is your favorite hotel to stay in when you travel? What color does your wardrobe consist of the most? What is your favorite city in the world? I have designed weddings off of a simple throw pillow in a catalog, a kitchen in a magazine, and even a favorite dress of a bride. Draw from your likes and interest and hopefully it will make the decision making process easier.

Brides: What five elements would your dream wedding have to include?
Brooke: The five elements my dream wedding would include are: a very in love and happy couple, an amazing band, a very talented photographer, excellent food and drinks, and beautiful décor and lighting!
Brides: What has been your most memorable moment to date at one of the weddings you've planned?
Brooke: There are too many to mention, but one of my all time favorites was a wedding at the Four Seasons Las Vegas. I had a groom that was going to share a mother-son dance to "A Song for Mama" by Boyz II Men, his mother's favorite group. With a lot of secretive planning, we actually flew Boyz II Men in to perform the song live as a surprise for hismother. The DJ started the song as if it was any other dance and Boyz II Men walked out and serenaded the groom's mother during their special dance. The look on her face was priceless!
