Let the freaking out begin: Adam Brody and Leighton Meester are married! And they got hitched in a super-secret ceremony!
Just three months after we flipped out about Seth and Blair's engagement—which happened just 10 months into their romantic relationship, multiple sources at Us Weekly confirmed the news of the nuptials.
This is the first marriage for the O.C. and Gossip Girl alumns, both of whom starred in Josh Schwartz-created shows. The pair, who have yet to comment on their relationship publicly, met on the set of The Oranges. They also worked together on the soon-to-be-released comedy Life Partners.
With no further details currently circulating about the Hollywood pair's hush-hush ceremony, we're left with so many questions: Did Meester wear Vera Wang (as Blair did for her doomed marriage to Prince Louis), or did she go for a more whimsical blue Elie Saab (like her rushed-but-romantic "I do" to Chuck in the series finale)?! Did Brody use Seth Cohen's beloved bestie Captain Oats as best man? If not, please say that a few of our other O.C. and Gossip Girl faves—like Blake Lively, Ed Westwick, Penn Badgley, Benjamin McKenzie, and Mischa Barton—were in attendance. At the very least, we pray that Peter Gallagher officiated, because, damn, can Sandy Cohen nail a coming-of-age monologue like no one else.
Regardless of our speculation, we wish the best to two of our favorite celebs—and we hope that their happily ever after doesn't follow a typical teen soap plotline...
