When Grace and Michael awoke on the morning of their wedding, a thunderous storm was raging outside. Though their wedding venue, One Atlantic, was right on the water, luckily it was completely indoors—so the couple remained calm. "In the end, the storm provided a really dramatic backdrop for our photos," says Grace.
The 4 p.m. ceremony was held in the Atlantic Room, where floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the ocean afforded guests a glimpse of the churning waves below. Grace was escorted down the aisle by her brother, Daniel. Like several of the bride's family members, including Grace's mother, the couple changed into Korean attire for the pae baek, a traditional tea ceremony performed at weddings.
During their reception, the newlyweds listened as wedding party members offered poignant toasts. "There were spectacular lightning flashes throughout the speeches," recalls Grace. "That added even more drama to an already emotional evening."
