If you listened to the radio for even a minute this summer, you know the country duo Florida Georgia Line and their smash hit "Cruise." What you probably didn't know is that one half of the group, Brian Kelley, was engaged or even had a girlfriend. But to the surprise of fans everywhere, Kelley announced yesterday that he got married to Brittney Marie Cole!

The pair said "I do" at a surprise outdoor ceremony at Kelley's 32-acre Nashville-area estate and was attended by 40 guests, including Kelley's bandmate Tyler Hubbard and their backup band. The sunset ceremony was followed by a tapas-style reception dinner in a renovated barn on Kelley's property. Then, guests drank and danced in Kelley's house to celebrate.

Cole, a psychology student at the University of Georgia, described their wedding style to People as whimsical, adding that, "It was just fun and cozy and warm." With such an intimate guest list and a personal venue, we're not surprised by that in the least!

What did surprise us was Cole's wedding dress choice. In a totally inspired move, she picked a short, long-sleeved gown from Etsy, which she wore with a feathered headband in lieu of a veil. "It's a dream dress," Cole said. "And it was a dream way to obtain it, because I didn't have to go to 6,000 bridal stores to find it."

For someone marrying one of country's biggest stars, it's delightfully unexpected—but, Kelly said, their entire courtship was unconventional. "The whole process has been non-traditional," Kelley noted. "There was no official proposal or exchanging of rings. We had just fallen in love, and I knew I couldn't live without her. It sounds like a terrible cheesy movie, but when you know, you know!"

The couple only dated for seven months before tying the knot, but reportedly knew each other for three years before falling in love. According to People, they plan to go on a tropical honeymoon to cap off their wildly romantic nuptials. Plus, secret weddings in the vein of Kerry Washington and Zoë Saldana have an extra layer of romance.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
