Love is in the air among members of the Glee cast! A month after her co-star (and former on-screen girlfriend) Naya Rivera had her surprise wedding to Ryan Dorsey in Mexico, Heather Morris is reportedly engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Taylor Hubbell!

Morris, a pro dancer who still plays ditzy cheerleader Brittany S. Pierce on the FOX show as a recurring character, has yet to announce the engagement, but a source close to the star confirmed the news to Us Weekly.

After all, this union has been a long time coming. Three years ago, Morris famously told Fitness magazine of her high school sweetheart, "I want to marry Taylor and have kids with him! I love acting, but if it affects my relationship, then I won't continue."

The latter part of her wish came true nearly a year ago; they welcomed their first child, son Elijah, last September. Shortly after she found out she was pregnant, she left her regular role on Glee to devote more time to her growing family. And now, she and Hubbell can start planning their happily ever after together!

"They're super happy together and it just made sense," Us Weekly's source says of the couple's engagement. "Heather was beaming when spotted wearing her engagement ring."

According to Star, the couple is "on cloud nine" and planning a California wedding for early next year. We know one thing for sure, though — they have an adorable ring bearer already built in!

5 People Who Should Not Go Wedding Dress Shopping with You

People You Shouldn't Take Wedding Dress Shopping

Photo: Getty Images

Any girl who's ever watched TLC's Say Yes To The Dress knows what a nightmare wedding dress shopping can be if you've got a crazy entourage. One bad apple can completely ruin the experience for you and everyone else. "While some brides want brutal honesty, others only want kid gloves and support," notes April Masini, relationship author and advice columnist at AskApril.com. "If you're the bride, figure out what you want first before deciding who to take dress shopping with you." In general though, you may wish to avoid the following types of folks:

1. Your Future Mother-In-Law
Some brides have super close relationships with their future mother-in-law and would feel weird not taking her shopping. Others, however, might not be completely comfortable (or comfortable at all) with the idea and that's okay. "If she makes you reach for the Benadryl every time you have to see her because she gives you anxiety, it's safe to say you shouldn't take her wedding dress shopping with you," says Masini.

2. The Drama Queen
"Drama queens will hijack your day and turn it into fodder for their chaos," warns Masini. They stir the pot and heighten tension so if you're looking for a namaste dress shopping experience, she suggests bringing your zen friends along instead. Hey, it's all about keeping the peace, right?

3. Any Disapproving Relatives
Whether it's someone on your side of the family or his, anyone who disapproves of your relationship for whatever reason should probably stay at home. Particularly those relatives who think he (or you!) could do better and are constantly comparing you to past partners, points out Masini.

4. Jealous Friends
They swear they're happy for you and when they make a snide comment about your partner or your wedding plans it's always followed up with a, "Oh you know, I'm just kidding!" But are they? "Jealousy is particularly ugly. If you have a sense of humor about it, these jealous people in your circle won't bother you," assures Masini. "If you're sensitive and stressed out though, you should leave out those who are jealous and tend to sabotage you, consciously or subconsciously."

5. Know-It-Alls
"These are people that think since they have watched Say Yes to the Dress they know everything there is to know about a bridal appointment and bridal gowns," says Rice. "That is false and can cause the bride to get confused. Also, those shows only portray what they want people to know and think and do not always provide the correct information," she adds.

This morning it was confirmed that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wed in a small and intimate ceremony at Chateau Miraval in France this past weekend. But one very important detail wasn't discussed: Angelina's wedding dress!

It's safe to say we've been waiting for Jolie's walk down the aisle ever since Pitt popped the question in 2012. Thanks to a source close to the couple, we now have a very good idea of what she looked like on her big day!

Unlike the thigh-high slits of her past, Jolie kept it classic for her long-awaited wedding. The superstar's dress was apparently "very traditional, but very Angie, it was comfortable but plain white floor-length antique lace and silk," the source told E! News. No word yet on who designed it.

Her something borrowed was reportedly extremely sweet: "[She] definitely wore something that once belonged to [her mother] Marcheline Bertrand," the insider continued. "A small gold locket with a photo of her mom inside it." She also had a veil, and when "Brad lifted it [he] gasped because she looked so stunning," the source recalled.

As for their six children, who played an intregral role in the ceremony, they all chose looks that reflected their individual personalities. The source explained: "The boys all wore tiny matching cream linen suits which were just like Brad's [tux] while the girls had each chosen a dress to match their own individual style and they had them specially made."

The source further shared that their wedding rings (which has already been spotted on Pitt), "were designed by their good friend Robert Procop."

Shortly after the wedding, it was straight back to work for the Jolie-Pitt clan. According to Us Weekly, the family of eight headed to Malta following the ceremony, where they're all staying in an eco-friendly villa as Jolie inspects the set of By the Sea, a film she wrote and is directing, which Pitt will co-star in.

What Guys Think Of Bridesmaids Girl Friends 10 Things I Hate About You

Every week, we give our readers a glimpse inside the mindset of a guy's brain on weddings with the help of the hilarious and smart editors at The Plunge. For their latest installment, they're revealing what they really think about your bridesmaids, as described by some of our favorite teen movie titles of the greatest decade.

10 Things I Hate About You (above): We don't hate any of your ladies, but we do have one that we love/hate. She's a great friend to you (obviously) and a great person and we get along, but there's just always something that rubs us the wrong way. We hate that our personalities differ and when she steers you wrong. We hate that she roots for our rival team and loves that stupid song. We hate that she's too involved, or not enough to call. But mostly we hate the way we don't hate her. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.

What Guys Think Of Bridesmaids Girl Friends Clueless

Photo: Getty Images

Clueless: Every group of girls has one hot mess friend (Fun fact: If you can't figure out who it is in your group, it's you!) and your group of bridesmaids has one girl who just can't get with the program. She doesn't respond to your emails, flakes out on your events, loses touch, has to be reminded of things, and generally gives you more work than you should have to take on instead of taking things off your plate like a good bridesmaid should. Sorry that was way harsh, but this girl, ugh.

She's All That: Bless you, Laney Boggs of bridesmaids. You've been the prom queen, the MVP all along and only we notice. You celebrate with our bride-to-be in her times of joy and talk her off the ledge in her moments of crisis. You're always connected with a quick phone call or email even if you don't live nearby and haven't seen her in ages. You offer great advice. You talk to our future mother in law about flowers and things. You do all the dirty work we'd be stuck doing otherwise. If you were a hacky sack, we'd never let you drop.

You've put a lot of thought into where you want each of your wedding guests to sit, so to make sure your careful planning goes off without a hitch. Complete with each guest's name and table assignment, these seemingly minor details may not feel like a place to invest a ton of time or effort, but you'll be surprised at what a major impact a lovely display can make. Not only will these important little cards get your guests to the correct table, they can also set the tone for your entire reception. To help inspire your planning, we found 8 fresh ideas that you should consider for your own seating assignments!

Classic Upgrade
There's nothing wrong with the classic, tented escort card. In fact, they can be created on nearly any budget and are easy to display. But if you're looking for an elevated take on this traditional pick, consider the options seen above. At left, calligrapher Rachel Carl transformed stark white escort cards into mini works of art. For the escort cards on the right, a crafty bridesmaid sprinkled natural cards with gold glitter for a gilded upgrade.

Edible Options
Your guests will love a tasty treat combined with their seating assignment. It's the perfect way to ensure each guest takes a favor, too! On the left, jars of olives are topped with a chalkboard painted lid, so they can snack as they find their table. For the couple that wants to kick off their party from the moment their friends and family walk in, take note of the option on the right. Colorful tags are attached to mini tequila bottles for an instant start to cocktail hour.

Color Treatments
For a creative take on escort cards, consider a trendy color treatment. A bride and her matron of honor used watercolor paint to decorate classic luggage tags, seen at left, then added romantic calligraphy for a final touch. If you prefer something more traditional, consider the antique style cards at right. Tea-stained escort cards complete with formal calligraphy are perfect for a vintage affair.

Thematic Picks
If you've worked tirelessly to plan a wedding around a specific theme, don't forget to incorporate it into your escort cards! For a garden party, we love the adorable seed packets seen at the right. Hosting a nautical bash? Antique-inspired compasses are the perfect match.

An effortless side ponytail is a staple style that every woman should know — and it's easier than you think to perfect this laid-back look.

The trick to making this style work for your wedding day comes, in part, from the romantic curls. Paired with a polished front and relaxed back, an effortless ponytail looks formal and romantic in a way that will leave your guests thinking you wake up every morning looking this great. Plus, this versatile hairstyles work for just about any event — try it for your engagement photos, add a fun accessory for your bachelorette party, or dress it up with a lacey veil on your big day. The options are endless!

Follow our step-by-step instructions to master this effortless side ponytail and watch the look come to life in the video below!

1. Prep by applying dry shampoo or texturizing spray to dry hair. Create a side part and curl sections with a one-inch barrel curling iron.
2. Brush out the curls so they don't look too perfect.
3. Secure your hair into a low side ponytail with an elastic, leaving out face-framing sections.
4. Wrap a piece of hair from the bottom of your ponytail around the elastic and secure with bobby pins.
5. Softly brush out the face-framing section of your hair, extending it so that it touches the ponytail elastic. Secure it underneath the ponytail with bobby pins.
6. You're done!

To ensure it lasts from ceremony to reception, finish with a light, flexible-hold hairspray.

A Timeless Fall Wedding in Baltimore — That Came Together in Just 6 Months!

As the summer of 2009 came to a close, Amanda Ortel, 29, and Grady Frank, 36, were enjoying one of their last weekends in the Hamptons when a mutual friend made an introduction on the dance floor. The pair hit it off, and Grady took Amanda to dinner when they were back in Manhattan a few days later. "We got together again over Labor Day Weekend in the Hamptons, and from that point on, we were officially dating!" says Amanda.

Two and a half years later, Grady suggested that they take a "staycation" to New York's Gramercy Park Hotel. "Going into Gramercy Park had been on our to-do list," says the bride, "but you have to live on the park (or be staying in the hotel) to get a key." After dropping their bags and having brunch at Gramercy Tavern, Grady and Amanda picked up a key from the front desk and headed into the park. As they sat down on what they now refer to as "their bench," Grady got down on one knee and proposed! "The park is so special to us," Amanda says, "that we snuck back in for our engagement photos!"

The couple wanted to have an early fall wedding, but couldn't bear to wait a year and a half to tie the knot, so they kicked planning into high gear and picked a date a mere six months later!

Keep reading to see their beautifully classic wedding, photographed by Laurie Bracewell Photography.

Amanda and Grady invited their 225 guests to join them in her home state of Maryland. The bride DIY-ed the welcome boxes, filled with Old Bay popcorn (a nod to Baltimore), honey glazed pecans (for Grady's hometown of Huntsville, AL), and Tate's chocolate chip cookies (made in the Hamptons, where they met).

"I didn't start dress shopping looking for a lace dress," says Amanda, "but when I put this one on, I fell in love." She chose a strapless A-line dress by Monique Lhuillier, and tied an ivory satin sash around her waist for the ceremony.

Amanda's bridesmaids wore blush chiffon dresses also by Monique Lhuillier. Four wore a v-neck style, while the other four wore halters. They carried white bouquets of hydrangeas and roses.

Grady wore a tuxedo with a white Paul Stuart dinner jacket. "I really love how men look in tuxedos," says Amanda, "but Grady wasn't sure about requiring that all of our male guests wear them." So the pair settled on a "black tie optional" dress code. Well, optional for everyone except the wedding party!

Amanda's bouquet featured white roses, hydrangeas, and stephanotis accented with pink garden roses. The stems were wrapped with extra lace from her dress.

The flower girl, in an ivory dress with a blush sash, wore a crown of rosebuds in her hair.

The bride and her father arrived at the ceremony, at the Second Presbyterian Church, in a vintage car.

The church was decorated with arrangements of roses, hydrangeas, and vines. "The church is so elegant," says Amanda. "We loved all the natural light that pours in through the arched windows."

Grady's two-year-old nephew served as the ring bearer. "He did a great job walking down the aisle on his own," says the bride, "until he saw his dad in the front pew, tripped, and fell. Thankfully his mom was nearby to scoop him up and calm him down."

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests headed to The Elkridge Club for a tented reception. "We chose early September because we really wanted to be outside," says Amanda. "The weather was great." Guests were seated at round tables topped with textured linens and tall arrangements of white hydrangeas and pink garden roses to match the bride's bouquet.

The bride and groom shared their first dance to Ray Lamontagne's "You Are the Best Thing," then started the dance set with "Wanna Be Startin' Something" by Michael Jackson. They cut into a four-tiered cake topped with garden and polo roses.

Grady and Amanda got adventurous for their honeymoon, exploring the jungles and beaches of Bali. "We even stayed on a tiny island surrounded by monkeys, deer, and sharks!" she says.

Their advice? "Enjoy your engagement," says Amanda. "You have your whole lives to be husband and wife, but just a short window to be fianc&eacute(e)s!"

3 Slices of Wedding Cake Etiquette You Should Devour

$
0

Hey, it's ok to not feel totally tied to the traditional idea of a wedding cake! With tons of alternatives, like donuts and cupcakes, becoming popular options, couples are wondering exactly how far they can wander from the standard multi-tier white cake. In that light, we sought out etiquette advice on common cake-related questions so that brides and grooms can feast on sweets to their hearts' content!

Is it ok to pass on having a cake if I'm allergic to gluten and my husband doesn't have a big sweet tooth?
It's great if couples want to do it their way — personalizing your wedding is always a good idea, after all — but don't completely bypass the cake tradition. If you're more of an ice cream girl due to your allergy, put out a dessert buffet with a sundae and cookie bar. Since the cutting of the cake is such a classic wedding photo, why not have a small, gluten-free dessert or a wheel of cheese to cut into for ceremonial purposes? Or, pick a one-tier cake that you can then designate as a kids-only cake.

I really want a chocolate cake, but I've been told it's not a great idea for a wedding. Should I just do it anyway?
The biggest risk of an all-chocolate wedding cake is getting it on your teeth during the "cake face smash" or accidentally staining your wedding dress. If you're really set on chocolate, though, stick to a light-colored layer on the bottom — that's the one you'll cut into for your photo op. Save your favorite flavor for the top layer, which you can enjoy while sitting down, away from the cameras, or on your anniversary.

It seems like serving dessert in addition to wedding cake has become custom, but I'd rather not do that. Will that look cheap?
The wedding cake is the only dessert you really need; everything else, like a Viennese table, is (pardon the pun) the icing on top. Your cake is so special and meaningful, why not let it be the star of the show? If you're concerned that having this as the only dessert will look bare, you can dress it up a bit for serving with fruit, a coulis or sauce, a scoop of sorbet or ice cream, or even a truffle or two on the side.

Rose Bridesmaid Dresses

Just a dab darker than blush, rose bridesmaid dresses are all the rage at the moment. They're not only a sophisticated take on the popular light pink hue for fall, but they're also a timeless alternative to the trendy corals and peach tones of the moment.

The best part about rose is that it takes into account a wide range of deeper pink shades, from dusty rose, featuring gray or brown undertones, perfect for a fall or winter wedding to brighter, white-infused petals fit for spring or summer.

Whether you want a lace knee-length number for a bohemian or romantic bash, a silk twist sheath for a beach-front "I do" or a shimmering, satin A-line gown for more formal affairs, these dresses work for nearly any type of wedding and style. Plus, a wide range of our favorite bridesmaid dress designers offer fun, flirty and feminine rose-hued styles: David's Bridal, with its swinging asymmetrical chiffon numbers, BHLDN with its sweeping lace and illusion-necked gowns, and a large selection of Dessy styles, with silk dupioni retro-inspired dresses, sweetheart floor-length gowns and preppy satin shifts.

Whether you're throwing a fall wedding, want a fresh take on the recent insurgence of blush, or just love the romance of it, rose is a surefire bridesmaid dress success.

Was George Clooney at Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie's Wedding? Plus More Brangelina Big-Day Details

brad pitt angelina jolie wedding date

When we heard that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's wedding was intimate, we didn't imagine it was this small. Turns out, two would-be key players were missing from the hush-hush festivities: BFF (and groom-to-be) George Clooney and Angelina Jolie's father John Voight.

After news broke, Clooney told People, "How great is that?! I'm really happy for Brad and Angie and their whole family." While his congratulations and joy seem genuine, the reactionary tone makes it seem like he wasn't present for their big day. Does this mean he'll rethink Pitt's role as best man?

As for Jolie's father, it's no secret that the two have had a contentious relationship throughout the years. And while things seemed to get better once they reconciled in 2010, he found out about the wedding when the rest of us did. According to Us Weekly, news broke to Voight while he was doing an interview with CBS's Inside Edition. When asked about the surprise nuptials, he replied he didn't even know it happened and then said "that's nice."

Later, though, Voight released a statement expressing his congratulations: "It seems like it was a beautiful, simple ceremony with all the kids involved," he said. "Must have been a lot of fun. I am very happy for them."

One source says that while many friends were shocked, they all send their well wishes. "This was a total surprise, but something they were obviously planning on doing when the time was right," a source told Us Weekly. "Everyone is happy for them. It was small and family and friends only, just like they wanted. I'm happy they pulled it off. We all consider them married anyway, but now it's official."

More fun details from the secret ceremony include local officials unaware of the festivities and Pitt's covert planning back in July. "No one in Correns knew a thing," an official from the French village where Brangelina wed told People. "It was a marriage which seems to have been carried out in total intimacy and absolute discretion." And it turns out that during a 10-day trip in July, Pitt sneakily visited a local florist to pick out their wedding flowers. How no one realized is beyond us!

An Unexpected Wedding Detail: Floral Bridal Corsages

Wedding Floral Corsages

If the word "corsage" makes you cringe with the thought of high school prom, think again. Beautiful, blooming wrist corsages are earning a place in the wedding world and we understand why: Not only are they super pretty, but corsages are also a cost-effective way to make a big statement without blowing your whole budget on flowers for you and your bridesmaids.

If you're not the type of bride who can see yourself toting around a bouquet all night long, consider swapping the classic arrangement for this unexpected trend. Or you can also carry the corsage as if it were a classic posy if you still want something to carry down the aisle.

In the photo above, you can see just how pretty these floral accessories can be. Plus, you don't even have to give up bridal-favorite flowers in order to make the trend work. Classic peonies or garden roses make for beautiful corsages. To achieve an understated, but romantic look, stick with one or two oversized blooms and fill the rest of the arrangement with greenery, small flowers, and berries.

Still not ready to party with your classic, lush wedding bouquet? Consider gifting your bridesmaids with a colorful corsage that coordinates with their dress — another wedding trend that's gaining popularity.

Stress-Free Wedding Weight Loss Tips for the Bride Who Hates the Gym

Stress Free Wedding Weight Loss Tips

Photo: Getty Images

Is the idea of squeezing into your ivory wedding dress driving you to the nearest donut shop in angst? Who could blame you. Losing weight is difficult when you're not doing it under wedding-day-perfection pressure. Add in the hours and stress spent planning your big day — the endless to-do lists, phone calls and money spent — and it makes perfect sense that you'd find comfort in a delicious, sugary confection and not inside a gym.

The point is, you're not the only bride who has set a wedding-day weight goal and is struggling to achieve it. "Often times, when people dive into a new fitness regime, they try to do everything all at once and either become mildly obsessive, overwhelmed, or defeated," says Rachael Frank, fitness director and lead instructor for Burn SF studios in San Francisco. "Finding efficient, easily accessible and, most importantly, enjoyable exercise and diet changes are a must in order to maintain something, even if it is short-term."

Here are the three specific things to focus on that will help you meet your goals:

1. Consistency is key.
Small changes will add up, both positive and negative. "Each week, check in with your body and schedule your workouts like you would plan meetings into your calendar," Frank says. "And yes, even if it's only 15 minutes, it's better than nothing. Some days you will feel more on top of everything and others you may need to step back and just rest. But commit to at least one healthy exercise hour, three to four times a week, spaced out to allow your body to heal and recover and then push harder when the time comes."

2. Plan your meals.
Prepare them on the weekend for the week, that way healthful snacks are on-hand and ready-to-go when you get cravings. "Be sure not to skip breakfast and keep plenty of water at your desk to stay hydrated," Frank suggests. "Organize in house healthy dinner parties for your partner and your friends, where you have the ability to make choices toward the menu."

See More: Genius (&Easy!) Ways to De-Stress Before the Wedding

3. Set small goals for yourself around your dress fittings.
"Not in order to put the focus toward only fitting into the dress, but because these are consistently progressed lengths of time that allow you to check in with how you look and feel," Frank says. "Trying to weigh yourself every day can drive you absolutely nuts, especially if the scale doesn't change. For some, it may change, some it may not even budge. However, if you feel better in your own body, both mentally and physically from the exercise and healthier eating, that says so much more than what the scale may be telling you."

And remember, "exercise and a healthy lifestyle should be fun and rewarding and never a punishment," Frank says. "Be flexible with both your planning and your body, and remember to take a moment and enjoy the journey. This is not just an important time in your life — it's a celebration of love and life, and losing that last five pounds shouldn't stop you from enjoying every wonderful moment."

Emma Stone continually nails it on the red carpet, but her latest look may be her best one yet. The actress stepped out for the Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy yesterday wearing a gorgeous emerald green tulle Valentino gown. The gauzy green creation is — you guessed it — as bridal as a red-carpet gown comes. Both ethereal and modern, this design manages to look romantic, while still bringing out Stone's slightly dark side thanks to its on-trend, ultra-plunging V-neck. And while this look is fit for the non-traditional bride who is searching for an alternative wedding day shade, it would look perfect in white or ivory too.

Here's how to get a similarly frothy-yet-fashion-forward dress for your own big day.

Your wedding day is easily one of the most important days in your life. And while many brides have been dreaming of the occasion since childhood, those dreams do not always come to fruition when the groom's wishes are taken into account, as well as the flexibility needed when it comes to your date and location. Emotions will be on high, thus compromising will not be easy, but we tapped the expert advice of planner-to-the-stars Bryan Rafanelli for a few ways you can make the process enjoyable if you need to be flexible with some of your wishes.

Have a few dates and locations in mind while planning.
"Don't put all your eggs in one basket," advises Rafanelli. It's hard to stay flexible if you have been planning your dream day in your head even before you met your dream man, but your wedding is more likely to go off without a hitch if you are open to a few options and possibilities.

Expect to book your location a year in advance,
Almost every great venue books up quickly, so give yourselves a year in order to get your favorite location. Not to fret, though, says Rafanelli: "Don't let this get you down if you're eager to get married in a shorter timeframe. Six months out is when the venue holds are released and unfortunately, but fortunate for you the cancellations roll in."

August and September are the most popular months for weddings, so you should consider other times of year for more availability.
If you're looking to book a wedding for late summer/early fall, your thinking is the same as a slew of other couples all over the country. It's unexpected, but Rafanelli suggests tying the knot in January. "We're excited for an upcoming January wedding. We love winter weddings, think fur, fire and winter white!" Chic, no?

Remember that this day is a celebration of you and your fiancé first and foremost.
"It is always important to take parents' opinions into account and try to make everyone happy," says Rafanelli. He continues, "You can make them feel included by sharing information every month or so with them i.e. design ideas, entertainment selections, speech requests, RSVPs as they start rolling in etc. Ultimately, everyone should remember this is a day about you 'the couple' and the commitment you are making to each other."

If there is a conflicting wedding within your circle: talk about it.
This is a tricky situation, but not one that any couple needs to stress over. Rafanelli suggests speaking with your fiancé about it, including these questions: "Does it make sense to change your date and how many people are affected by it? If you can make another date work then why not change the date?" Any wedding is a joyous celebration and if you can help your friends or family in any way by adjusting (as you will now know firsthand the obstacles that come with planning a wedding), it will only make the celebrations even merrier.

You Won't Believe What Gabrielle Union & Dwyane Wade Are Having Wedding Guests Do

It doesn't seem likely that there will be any whispers or rumors about Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union's wedding this weekend. The couple is set to say "I do" on August 30 in Miami, Florida, in what's sure to be a blowout of a formal wedding (they informed guests on their invitations that men must wear all black and women should wear all white).

But it will be as private as it will be opulent. TMZ obtained a copy of the confidentiality agreement that Wade and Union's relatives, guests, vendors and caterers will have to sign before setting foot in the wedding. The document states that anything seen or heard at the pair's nuptials is confidential information that must be kept secret, including any personal information or financial details. Any violators will pay a large fine for unspecified damages.

Well, that's one way of keeping everything under-the-radar! Another? Banning cell phones. The duo also used their invite to let guests know that cell phones and personal cameras won't be permitted at their reception. Wade and Union set aside a noticeable amount of time, as noted on their invitations, for guests to get screened through tight security before the ceremony and the reception. (Good luck, wedding crashers.) Not only will guests have to pass a security screening, but they're also required to present a photo ID prior to entry.

Needless to say, this sounds like a national security event in addition to the wedding! Granted, there will probably be a ton of big names attending, including Wade's former Miami Heat teammate Lebron James. But could the strict regulations also indicate some sort of big musical event happening at the reception? Hopefully, time (and a verified publication with authorized photos) will tell!

The first word that probably comes to your mind when you think of the word "registry" is the kitchen. But nowadays, registries are so much more versatile than they used to be. Aside from cookware essentials or upgrades on the classics, think of all the other areas of your first home that could use some registry love. Enter: Pottery Barn. It's a great place to register because they specialize in products that will give your newlywed nest a polished and sophisticated look.

For example, adding this new lighting fixture to your list of must-haves will completely transform a space. Plus, it's not something that comes with every home, or something you rush to purchase, so it makes a great registry pick. Consider adding other décor accents, like these nesting tables, to your registry as well.

Pottery Barn also has monogram designs to fit every couples taste, making it a fantastic place to register for personalized items such as luxurious sheets or this deco-inspired tray.

Wedding Dress Designer Joanna August Interview

Photo: Courtesy of Joanna August

Joanna August was inspired to create her bridal brand by her own 2008 wedding planning experience. Like many brides before her, August was frustrated by the bridesmaids dresses available, and set out to create looks that her friends would love to wear not only to her wedding, but to any occasion in the future. It's been nothing but beautiful style since then in the world of Joanna August, and we sat down with the designer to discuss her upcoming collection, her top styling tips for brides and her philosophy on embracing color.

August's upcoming bridesmaids collection is still focused on her classic chiffon silhouettes, but this season she's upping the sex appeal.
"I am very excited about this collection! I am sticking with chiffon (my signature fabric!) but this season, the look is a bit more streamlined than past collections. I really focused on clean lines, more fitted silhouettes and a little added sex appeal, such as a back cut outs and side slits in some of the skirts. Nothing over the top — just a subtle, sleek and sophisticated look."

August's top three style tips for brides? Stay true to your own style, go bold with your dress and choose complementing bridesmaid dresses.
When asked to share her top styling tips for brides, August brought all of her expertise dressing both brides and bridesmaids to the table. "For a bride on her wedding day, the goal should be to look like the most elevated version of herself, but not a different person entirely!" Elaborating on this, August continued, "Stay true to your style, but go for it with your dress! Now, that doesn't mean you have to wear a gown with a huge fairy princess skirt if you are more of a simple chiffon sheath-kind of girl. But whether it is custom made, home-made or off the rack, this is a day when it is absolutely okay to be the center of attention, so don't be afraid to amp it up! I am also not opposed to straying from classic white if that is where your heart takes you."

The bridesmaids specialist's final tip: Create a cohesive wedding party that is a complement to your wedding style. "If you have a wedding party, consider choosing a color or a color palette, and letting them pick their style. Remember, your bridesmaids, like your flowers and your table settings and your hair and makeup, are not a distraction from you, but just another opportunity to express yourself and achieve your desired overall aesthetic."

For wedding dresses, August embraces the color trend!
"I personally love the trend of dresses with a pop of color, and we have Vera Wang to thank for leading the way with her black and red collections in the past several years. Not to mention Gwen Stefani's amazing Dior dip-dyed pink wedding gown! While brides always have the option to order any of our dresses in all white, I think showing wedding dresses with some color is just another way of saying that it is okay to use fashion to express your personality — that is very important message to me!"

When it comes to celebrity inspiration, the designer loves Nicole Richie's versatile style.
When asked about her dream celebrity client, August was quick to answer with a smile. "I don't even have to think hard about this one! Nicole Richie. My team and I are huge fans of Nicole's. I think she has amazing style and is able to be a real chameleon; crowned style queen of the red carpet one day, and the queen of Coachella the next — all with purple hair! Nicole really uses clothing and fashion to express her personality and her mood, which is exactly the reason that I started my line in the first place — so that women could have a voice, and be able to convey their own style even within the confines of a wedding ceremony."

For many wedding dresses these days, they are often better from the back! Whether you choose a gown with a statement back or just happen to like its buttons or skin-baring neckline, giving your guests something to look at while you recite your vows at the altar is never a bad idea. We see so many gorgeous dresses from all different angles, but we thought it would be extra fun to reach out to our Facebook followers to see what kind of photos you had captured from the flip side! Here are four of our favorites:

We loved bride Deena Decker's gown, seen above. The keyhole back is having a big moment right now, and this is total evidence why. Especially striking is the way the scalloped lace trimming her veil accents the back. It's romantic and daring at the same time.

Bride Courtney Gabelbauer's wedding dress is the epitome of ladylike — Audrey Hepburn would absolutely approve! Brides planning a sophisticated, uptown affair with retro touches should consider a similar bow-adorned look.

We're utterly obsessed with bride Jessi Dodson's boho look. Her low-backed lace look was completed with a simple bow and a trendy flower crown.

Maybe we're just taken with this sweet photo, but bride Danielle Joy Cole's dress couldn't be more lovely. The back of it benefits from the way the graphic lace straps frame her shoulders.

The only thing better than wearing Christian Louboutin heels for your wedding day? Wearing Christian Louboutin heels and Christian Louboutin nail polish for your wedding day. Christian Louboutin Beauté, which officially launches on Sunday, encompasses three collections: The Pops (bright colors), The Noirs (dark tones) and The Nudes (your new go-tos for classic big-day shades). At $50 a bottle, they might be a bit pricey, but the bottles are practically works of art themselves: At eight inches, they're as tall as the tallest heel he ever created.

Here, we've put together five shoe-and-nail polish pairings that brides-to-be will love.

Nude Nail Polish + Laser Cut-Out Pumps = Classic Wedding with a Modern Twist (above)
Neutral, glossy nail polish? Check. Pretty white heels? Check. Everything about this has the makings of a traditional bridal look, except for one detail: the shoe's cutouts. Whether you go for a classic ball gown, sophisticated sheath, or short dress, this heel-and-nail pairing will fit in perfectly. Christian Louboutin Nail Colour in Tutulle, $50, Sephora, and pumps, Christian Louboutin, 888-856-8247.

Berry Nail Polish + Red Satin Pumps = Black-Tie Wedding
You don't always have to pair a neutral with a color; we love mixing it up with complementary palettes. For a glamorous wedding, berry and deep red is one of our favorite combos. Just imagine how elegant you'll look when a bit of satin red slippers peak out from underneath your gown. Christian Louboutin Nail Colour in Lady Page, $50, Sephora, and pumps, $625, Net-A-Porter.

Bianca Louboutin Nail Polish

Shimmery Navy Nail Polish + Black Lace Pumps = City Wedding
Cool city brides will love this take on something blue. After all, there's no rule that it has to be light blue, right? We won't blame you if you can't help but take this pairing for before the wedding. Christian Louboutin Nail Colour in Bianca, $50, Sephora, and pumps, $795, Neiman Marcus.

Very Prive Louboutin Nail Polish

Red Wine Nail Polish + Gold Stilettos = Holiday Wedding
Nothing says festive quite like red and gold. And don't you kind of love how the red nail polish coordinates with the red sole? It's matchy matchy in the best way possible. We'd keep the rest of this wedding-day look subtle, so these glitter heels can be the stars. Christian Louboutin Nail Colour in Very Prive, $50, Sephora, and stilettos, $900, 888-856-8247.

Batignolles Louboutin Nail Polish

Mint Green Nail Polish + Silver Sandals = Destination Wedding
When you're on the beach, pastels are always in season. We love these chic sandals that we're positive Jackie O. would've traded for her standard Jack Rogers for evening dinners in Capri. Plus, you can wear them on your honeymoon — and forever after. Christian Louboutin Nail Colour in Batignolles, $50, Sephora, and sandals, $795, Christian Louboutin.
