As we do each season, Brides asked designers showing Fall 2013 collections to grant us a sketched sneak peek at the gowns soon to hit New York runways. (Afterward, it's fun to compare the sketches to the real-life gowns they become.) Here, St. Pucchi designer Rani Totman connects this season's lace creations to her very first bridal collection:
Describe your collection in a word:
Angelic
What inspired this season's theme?
Much of what you see is inspired from growing up in a family of fine lace purveyors—one of the largest in Thailand. When I sketched the collection together, I couldn't help but think of the amorous inspirations that led me to launch my very first collection.
What is unique about this sketch in particular?
The skirt is made entirely of pleated silk squares.
Check back daily to see more sneak peek sketches from our favorite bridal fashion designers, and browse more of our favorite looks from last season's Bridal Fashion Week.
