I have been a fan of Marchesa for years now—their shows are always a highlight of Fashion Week and bridal market. Season after season, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig produce some of the most inspiring collections around—really pushing the boundaries of fashion. Much like their evening and bridal collections, their handbags double as works of art. I first laid eyes (and featured) this minaudiere from their Spring 2012 collection a couple months ago and still get a thrill every time I see it. The mother-of-pearl paillettes create an under-the-sea vibe and the rough-cut gem closure is icing on the proverbial cake—making it perfect for the wedding day and ever after.
