This weekend I finally caught a glimpse of Carrie Underwood's new music video "Good Girl", which coinsidentialy aired right outside our office building on the Sony Billboard in Times Square. The video credits read like a piece right out of a fashion magazine: shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti, miu miu and Stuart Weitzman, accessories by Elizabeth and James, a George Chakra couture gown, and very special vintage-inspired piece by Kymerah. The single is just a hint of what's to come from Carrie's forthcoming Blown Away album. Based on the album's cover alone, it promises to be a hit.
Wearing one of our favorite trends this season, Carrie flaunts her perfectly-toned physic in a front slit gown by season six Project Runway winner Irina Shabayeva. The piece could have easily been the 11th slection it into our 10 Unforgettable Wedding Gowns fashion spread, which opened with an equally mesmorizing black and white wedding gown by Vera Wang.
While Carrie's cover looks isn't technically a wedding gown (a daring bride could totally pull this look off for a black tie affair), Irina Shabayeva does have a bridal collection filled with jaw-droppingly dramatic wedding gowns. My favorite is a piece called "Catherine."
