Crista and Bill were introduced by a mutual friend in 2004, soon after the bride moved to Chicago. "My friend Rachel said she knew someone in the city I should meet—she thought we'd hit it off," says Crista. "She actually said, 'Wait, I think he might love you—seriously,' which was a little scary, but she was right. He did love me and it turned out I loved him, too."
Crista wore a Banana Republic necklace and a gown by J.Crew. "The dress had tiny embroidered disks that fell on the tulle overlay like confetti," she says. Her bridesmaids wore aqua dresses from J.Crew and carried violet bouquets of orchids, succulents, and berries. All flowers were by Kehoe Designs.
