Charleston-based baker Jim Smeal is a wedding cake legend, known for his clean, elegant, and utterly romantic designs. He designed the pale-green cake in today's featured real wedding (which was actually a part of a cake trio!), and I also love this more modern design by Smeal in a similar color scheme featuring a graphic mix of patterns and a pair of birds in flight.
