Well, this has officially been the best year ever for Twlight alumn Nikki Reed and Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder. After sparking up a romance in July and shortly after getting engaged in December, these two officially tied the knot!
The lovestruck couple capped off a whirlwind nine-month courtship with a wedding at Topanga Canyon in Santa Monica, California according to People. From the looks of the parazzi shots, Reed stunned in a lace fishtail Claire Pettibone gown with three quarter-length sleeves and a side-swept updo. Somerhalder also looked quite wedding-ready in an all-white suit.

From the look of the paparazzi shots it was, indeed, a beautiful day. The outdoor reception was outfitted with string lights, and Somerhalder held Reed in his arms all day and night long.

In lieu of wedding gifts, E! News reports that the newlyweds requested guests donate to their animal rescue charity (one of the things they bonded over is their love for animals).
While the courtship may seem quick, their strong foundation of friendship paved the way for romance. "What's actually I think nurtured this long friendship that we've had is that we are passionate about similar things," Reed dished to reporters in February before then-fiancé Somerhalder presented her an award for her work with animals, People reports.
It looks like these two had a magical day after what seems like magical love-filled months!
