Newlywed Jessa Duggar wasted no time in starting a family with Ben Seewald, her husband of five months — but we don't expect this Duggar daughter to be like the rest. She already broke family tradition by tying the knot wearing a pink wedding dress and shared her first kiss in private, keeping her relationship more personal than some of her other siblings.
Also, before announcing their exciting pregnancy news, Jessa and Ben shared their hopes to adopt, which they say haven't been put on hold. Since they have to be married two years before they can begin the adoption process, they have plenty of time to adjust to life as parents. And based on a video announcement shared on their family blog, Mr. and Mrs. Seewald might be diving headfirst into parenting as their message indicates they might be expecting twins! "Can't wait to find out if it's a boy or a girl," Ben says in the video. "It could be both, who knows?" The newlyweds then share a laugh, which makes us believe they likely know more than they're saying.
It wouldn't be shocking if the pair did welcome two little ones. After all, Jessa has two sets of twin siblings, so multiples clearly run in their family. Another sign two newborns are on the way? Ben and Jessa discussed that they were starting to think about baby names — plural!
"We have started talking baby names. It is one of those things that is so special, picking a name for a baby," Jessa told People. Unlike their traditional, biblical-inspired family names, Ben and Jessa seem to be interested in breaking the trend and going with more modern monikers. "I like Quincy," Ben said of his current favorites. "That's a unique name."
One thing is for sure: With a November 1 due date, we'll be hearing plenty more about baby Seewald over the next several months.
