We spotted romantic glistening tulle, blooming floral laces, and form-fitting-meets-free-flowing silhouettes at Monique Lhuillier's Spring 2016 bridal runway show. We went backstage pre-show to get an even closer look at the gorgeous wedding dresses and talk to Monique about the collection.
"The reason why I like doing bridal is because it's making fantasy come to life," Lhuillier told us of latest runway show.

As for this season's collection, she was focused on sensuality. "For Spring 2016, I wanted it to feel more sensual, and I wanted it to feel more modern and push the envelope a little more," she explained of her plunging necklines, sheer layers and body-skimming silhouettes.
A veteran when it comes to sending pastels down the runway, the beloved bridal designer also explained that she loves a subtle use of color because it makes it more interesting for brides. "You'll see there's a lot of blush-colored dresses," she noted. "I feel like these are more interesting colors on brides, I think it's softer and a little more elegant and softer."
