If there's one thing we can expect from every Carolina Herrera collection, it's styles that speak to the aesthetic of the chic, traditional bride. And the bridal designer's newest collection did not disappoint, as she sent some of her prettiest looks yet down the runway.
This season Herrera was inspired by "the beauty, sensuality and delicacy of of the fragrant white jasmine flower." The mission statement added, "Carolina Herrera Spring 2016 bridal collection evokes a sense of femininity and romance."
The fashion icon's newest wedding dresses speak to the traditionalist bride looking for a gown with a fresh, of-the-moment feel that will still read as a timeless in 20 years. As seen above, Herrera remastered the long-beloved tulle A-line wedding dress with the addition of delicate floral embroidery. The sweet-yet-unexpected design is fit for a garden-party wedding.
The beauty look was also wedding perfection, with models sporting you-but-better makeup and perfectly tousled waves or elegant updos. Each hairstyle was adorned with tiny springs of blooms — an understated take on the trendy flower crown. From sweet bows and sexy backs to floral appliqué and even a menswear-inspired pantsuit that would be perfect for a rehearsal dinner or stylish city hall wedding, it's safe to say Herrera's latest collection hits every note for serious bridal style.
