Need further proof that Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka, and their towheaded twins are one of the most adorable families in Hollywood? Just check out their dinner menu. Unlike most children who prefer chicken fingers or pasta during mealtimes, Gideon and Harper prefer the likes of mussels and clams.
"My kids are crazy eaters," Burtka revealed to the The New Potato. "They have incredible palates."
Gideon and Harper's palates are so adventurous that they regularly down shellfish, sushi, capers, ginger and more. "Gideon eats everything you put in front of him. His passion for cooking and eating good food is in his soul," Burtka says of his son, who, he notes, devours "clams, sushi, octopus, grilled pork, steak, parmigiana cheese, ginger, mint, cinnamon and coconut."

Harper, on the other hand, prefers "briny flavors" such as "oysters, sardines, prosciutto, capers, duck liver, miso, and anything chocolate."
To treat their mature tastes, Burtka cooks often, while hubby NPH serves as "bartender." As for his weekly menu, Burtka explains: "I make ceviche a lot, grilled fish, too. We eat clams and mussels at least once a week, I make a lot of sous vide proteins like pork chops, chicken, and fish to take out of the freezer in the morning to sear. I always have poached shrimp and blanched vegetables on hand. We also make tacos and quesadillas as a go to."
That doesn't mean Harris hides from the kitchen, though, "He's great at plating [and] finishing touches," says Burtka. "And he ices cupcakes like a pro."
... So when do we get to come over for dinner?
