Every week, we give our readers a glimpse inside the mindset of a guy's brain on weddings with the help of the hilarious and smart editors at The Plunge. Here, they're sharing all the ways to get your guy involved in the wedding planning.
A common complaint among brides is that their grooms are apathetic about the planning process. This makes you feel neglected, not to mention stressed out. As always, we're here to help. Try these four techniques to rope your non-participatory groom into pitching in.
Give Him the Good Stuff
Offer to let him plan the only things he really cares about anyway. We've covered this before, but to recap, thats the food, the booze, the music, his and his groomsmens attire, and the honeymoon. For some guys, you can throw in the gift registry and cake planning, use your judgment. And yes, using this tactic unfortunately means he gets to plan all the fun stuff. But you wanted him to participate, right?

Make the Honeymoon His Reward
He already views it that way anyway, so make it official. Tell him the honeymoon is all his as long as he's willing to do just a few things here and there by request. When a few things turn into a few more things, he won't resist because he'll be so wrapped up in planning the sex fest, whoops, we mean trip of a lifetime.
Go Full Bridezilla
We're ashamed of ourselves for even suggesting it, but this is the most surefire tactic of all because it's a fate no man wants to be subject to, ever. If drama can be avoided, we avoid it, even if the only way out is acting like we give a crap about flowers and linens. Note that in addition to being the most effective tactic, this is also the most evil. So, just live with that. Sorry, gotta stick up for our guys at some point.
