If there's one thing Ryan Reynolds seems to love, it's being dad. The newly-minted father can't stop gushing over his daughter with wife Blake Lively, James. And it turns out, others are taking notice of his doting-dad habits.
In his latest film, Woman in Gold, Reynolds plays a devoted father, and those on set with him believe that's not only true of his on-screen character. "I can't imagine a better dad than Ryan," Woman in Gold's director Simon Curtis told People at the movie's New York premiere last night. "He's such a sweet, funny guy. He seems besotted with his new baby, and I think he'll be a remarkable father."

Not only director Simon Curtis, but lawyer Randy Schoenberg, whom Reynolds plays in the film, agrees that he's going to be a stellar father.
"I think he's gonna be a great dad," Schoenberg also told People. "You could see him holding a baby, interacting with babies in the movie. And you could tell he was thinking about it."
Reynolds and Lively have been nothing short of over-the-moon ever since little James was born. Reynolds has even been one to infuse a bit of humor in the mad dash to find out his baby's name, first joking that it was Excalibur Anaconda and Bruce Jenner, and then, right before officially confirming James's name on Today, saying he calls her "Butternut Summer Squash." It's nice to hear from someone other than the new parents themselves that Reynolds's parenting skills are just as serious as his jokes.
