Justin Timberlake is about to join the ranks of incredibly sweet and doting first-time dads — and last night he proved that he deserves his spot amongst them. While accepting the Innovator Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, the singer made sure to give a special shout out to Jessica Biel, his wife of a little over two years, and their impending baby.
According to E! News, Timberlake credits his wife for much of his professional success. "You can't have innovation without creation. I want to thank my best friend, my favorite collaborator, my wife Jessica at home."
He then went on talk about their first child, who will be born within the next few weeks. "Honey I can't wait to see our greatest creation yet," Timberlake said. "Don't worry, daddy's heading home right now to innovate by learning how to change a poopy diaper and get my swaddle on."

A pregnant Biel announced their happy news in a photo posted on Timberlake's Instagram account in January in honor of his 34th birthday. Whenever their little one enters the world we're confident that Timberlake is going to be one incredible father. The proof? The rest of his acceptance speech!
"Growing up in school, nobody called me close to an innovator. They called me different. They called me weird. They called me a couple other words I can't say on TV," Timberlake explained. "If you're a young person — like I used to be — and you're at home and you're being called weird of different, I'm here to tell you your critics do not count. Their words will fade. You won't."
Timberlake will certainly be a pro at giving those father-son (or daughter) pep talks!
