Kaitlin and Brian met in 2005 while living in the same dorm at the University of Florida. The couple chose The Club at Grace Farms, a 17-acre horse farm in Jacksonville, as the venue of their nuptials.
Kaitlin wore a strapless Alfred Angelo gown and worked with seamstress Martha Shump to add a custom sash. Her bouquet was created to be loose and unstructured and included anemones, caramel antique roses, and lavender. Bouquets and boutonnieres were by Cypress Creative Floral Design. Bridesmaids donned navy Priscilla of Boston dresses purchased from Bella Bridesmaid in Jacksonville.
Kaitlin and Brian exchanged vows during a 5 p.m. ceremony held beneath a towering oak tree. Programs designed by the bride were displayed in a wooden box filled with split peas. The rose petals for the aisle were purchased from FiftyFlowers.
The festivities then moved to an open-air tent erected on one of the property's grass paddocks. Reception tables were decorated with burlap runners and heather, hydrangeas, and seeded eucalyptus arranged in a variety of vintage vessels sourced by the bride. Kaitlin also made the table runners and designed the reception flowers.
During dinner, guests helped themselves to an assortment of dishes from several food stations. The wedding cake by Classic Cakes featured strawberry and chocolate marble flavors and was decorated with fondant branches and fresh peonies.
For their first dance, the newlyweds chose "To Make You Feel My Love" by Mick McAuley and Winifred Horan, spun by a DJ from The Music Factory. The reception also included toasts by wedding party members as well as the parent dances (Kaitlin and her father chose Jimmy Buffett's "Delaney Talks to Statues.")

Before the evening came to a close, the groom and his fraternity brothers surrounded Kaitlin and serenaded her with a fraternity song. "It was such a memorable way to end the night," recalls Kaitlin.
