Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson have been married just shy of three months, but they're still very much in the honeymoon phase!
Though Evan walked the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 with his wife last night, he admitted to missing her the second he had to step away for an interview. "It's the best thing ever. I actually want to get back to her, although I'm excited to be on the carpet — it's incredible," he told Us Weekly of their joint appearance. "I wish she didn't leave but there's a lot going on here."

The evening was a family affair for Evan and Ashlee, who were accompanied by his mother, legendary diva Diana Ross and his half-sisters Chudney and Tracee Ellis, among others. For Evan, who plays Messalla in the wildly popular trilogy, Ashlee fits right into that close-knit unit. "I've been with her now for a while so it just feels right," he stated. "I'm happy to say she's my wife."
In fact, if he has his way, they'll add to their family tree in a big way! Though Ashlee is already mom to five-year-old son Bronx, "I would love to [have kids]," Evan told Us, before quickly adding, "As many as possible."
We have a feeling that grandma Diana, who hosted the couple at her Connecticut estate for their August wedding, where she also sang for them, would be more than thrilled about that coming true!
