Yes, we all know the perfect marriage doesn't exist outside the movies, but maybe you're not aware of some of the wackier things that happen after the wedding day. If that's the case, we're here — with the help of real married women — to dish on the silly things they've done since they said, "I do."
1. "My husband locks the door when he goes to the bathroom," says a bride who's been married for four years. "He's terrified that I'll walk in on him one day when he's going number two! I just think it's hysterical that after four years married and two years of dating — during which I've never so much as knocked on the door when he's been in there — that he's still convinced I'll see him in that position and never look at him the same way again!"

2. "I still hide my 'period' underwear from my husband," another married gal says. "Yes, I know he knows I have a period. Yes, I understand he understands the concept of spotting. But we've only been married a year, and I'm not ready to show him that I'm not wearing sexy underthings 24/7!"
3. "We have pet names we use with just each other, and then a different set of pet names that we use when we're around other people," says a newly-married woman. "When we're around our friends, we stick with 'baby' and 'honey,' but when it's just me and him, I'll call him 'hot stuff' and he calls me 'snookums!'"
4. "I need a lot more 'me' time than I thought I would before we got married," explains a wife of three years. "So I take a lot of frequent, completely unnecessary trips to the grocery store and mall, where I'll buy one thing and then use the rest of the time I'm 'shopping' to go to the park and just read or relax. I think my husband thinks I have a shopping addiction!"
