Raquel Kelley, E! Fashion Police producer and the creative force behind the wedding blog, I Guess I Do, is revealing the three things a groom should never wear on his big day.
I believe it is very important to have your husband-to-be involved the wedding-planning process and his input heard. But there are instances where they may benefit from listening to us when it comes to certain areas of expertise. Case in point: fashion. Here are three style don'ts for your man on the big day. That way, your guests aren't whispering "Oh, no he didn't!" as he walks down the aisle.
1. Don't Pull Out the High School Suit
You can't blame him for wanting to save money. After seeing the cost of venues and flowers, it is only natural to try and save a buck. But trying to resurrect his old suit from senior year isn't the way to do it. As we all know, "If it doesn't fit—you must acquit." So, leave the snug suit where it belongs ... in the past. Opt for a rental, or purchase a new suit that is tailored to look best in pictures that will last a lifetime.

2. Don't Neglect the Hair
If your husband is anything like mine, a $10 haircut by any random person is the way to go. But without fail, every time he comes back from a fresh cut, he looks like his fourth grade yearbook photo. The week of the wedding is not the time get any experimental cuts, seven days does not leave much time for it to grow back. Minus shaving one's head, there are certain situations where some things cannot be fixed. So while your husband's haircut may not be very high on your list of priorities, make sure to schedule it for when you like it best, that could be three weeks before you wed. That way everyone's hair will be looking beautiful on the big day ... not butchered.
3. Don't Forget It's Your Wedding Day, Not Halloween
One of my friends is dead set on having his groomsman dress up as ninjas at his wedding some day. (God bless his future wife's soul.) Now if you are having a themed wedding, this rule does not apply to you. But if your husband is trying to show his funny side, you should allow him to do so, but at the appropriate time — the reception. At your ceremony, you and all of your guests should be focused on what's important — the vows, not your husband's wardrobe choice.
