Desperate Housewife no more! Vanessa Williams, former Miss America and star of the Broadway revival of The Trip to Bountiful, just confirmed her engagement to boyfriend Jim Skrip, seen above!
In an episode of The Queen Latifah Show, which is set to air next Tuesday, Williams dishes on the amazing way she celebrated her 50th birthday. According to People, the milestone day came with one huge gift: a shiny three-stone engagement ring, complete with a massive center diamond.
"Vanessa, I have been trying to have a conversation with you ladies and gents, but I am blinded by the light coming from that bling ring on your finger," Latifah said to Williams.

"Oh, sorry darling," Williams said. "I got engaged. I have had a lot of good things happen ... I turned 50 when we were in rehearsal on Broadway, I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago. It has been a lot of blessings."
Skrip is a native of Buffalo, New York and was first spotted with the actress in early 2013. Williams opened up about her man briefly earlier this year: "He's a guy I met a year-and-a-half ago when I was on vacation with my daughter in Egypt," Williams told Philly.com of Skrip. "You go across the world to find somebody who's six hours away."
This isn't Williams's first walk down the aisle. The star was previously married to public relations consultant Ramon Hervey and NBA basketball ball player Rick Fox, and has four children.
