Newlyweds Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent aren't wasting any time when it comes to creating their own family. The couple — who tied the knot in May — took to Facebook today to share that they are welcoming a baby soon!
"Wanted to share some exciting news... We have had the most special year and its JUST become even more beautiful. We are happy to announce that we are expecting our first child! While we can't share much, we can say that thanks to a surrogate and the support of those we love we will officially be a family in the spring of 2015! — Nate Berkus & Jeremiah Brent," the message stated.

Berkus and Brent dated for two years before they officially married in a stylish and historic wedding at the New York Public Library, where they were the first same-sex couple to exchange vows the landmark venue. The two designers chose a color palette of black, white, cream, and gold, with metallic pops thanks to geodes and minerals.
According to E! News, the prospect of welcoming a child into their world wasn't unfamiliar to Berkus and Brent. "One thing at a time, but Nate will be the best dad," Brent said earlier this year. "I want a soccer team. Unfortunately, it's not as easy for us like conventional couples as you can imagine. We both want kids. I would have five if I could, but we will probably have two."
One thing is for sure: Baby Berkus-Brent will surely have one very chic nursery! Congratulations to this adorable growing bunch!
