Up until this point, all we knew about Lauren Conrad's wedding was that it was held in Santa Ynez, California on September 13, and that she wore a Badgley Mischka dress. Thanks to her wedding album, which Us Weekly published, though, we now know a lot more. Here, a few of our favorite findings about the former reality star's big day.

She changed her dress design at the last minute.
The bead-embellished Badgley Mischka stunner initially had long sleeves, but L.C. doubted them during her fittings. "I felt like I couldn't pull them off," she told Us Weekly, adding her last minute decision shocked her tailor. "I was like, 'Sir, if you don't cut them off, I'm going to use my kitchen scissors and cut them.'"

Her train was 10 feet long!
"I did a photo shoot, and there was a dress with a giant train," Conrad explained of her gown's dramatic backside. "So I emailed [the designers], 'How do you feel about, like, a 10-foot train?"

The bride's veil was a last-minute decision.
Conrad wasn't sure of the headpiece, but once her hairdresser, Kristin Ess, placed it on her head, the lifestyle guru reportedly said "I'm ready to get married!"

Conrad's (and Tell's!) wedding ring matches her engagement ring.
The newlyweds opted for rose-gold wedding rings from XIV Karats, and Conrad chose a light dusting of bling, with a pavé-dusted band.

The wedding gift Tell gave Conrad was really sweet.
Not only was it an apple locket — which matched the wedding's theme — inside the necklace was a torn piece of the menu from their first date. Conrad's gift to tell wasn't too shabby either: a 1960s Omega Seamaster watch.

The bouquets were as romantic as we expected them to be.
Gilly Flowers & Events gathered white, blush, and lush green blooms of dahlias, peonies, and garden roses.

The Paper Crown designer had 10 bridesmaids, including Laguna Beach and Hills co-star Lo Bosworth.
Each 'maid donned a blush chiffon dress of their choosing. "We wanted different dresses for certain people," Conrad said of her girls' gowns. "We took into account people's shapes and common wedding colors."

For their non-denominational ceremony, Conrad and Tell exchanged original vows.
And Conrad's took her months. "I kept a folder in my phone, and whenever I thought of something, I'd add it," she told Us.

The Tell's invitation suite was designed by Rifle Paper Co.
"I'm a big fan!" Conrad said of her stationer. So much so, that she announced a collaboration with them right after her wedding.

There were two signature cocktails at this celebration: One, was Ketel Vodka-spiked lemonade. The other, a brandy and apple cider combo.

Conrad chose her apple theme based on a cute coincidence.
After finding a brass apple at the flea market, Conrad quickly realized Tell has the same name as the famous Swiss who shot an arrow into an apple on top of a boy's head.

She baked one of the desserts, which required hundreds of apples.
Conrad enlisted the help of her baker friend Hannah Skvarla, and the two cored and sliced the 300 apples to make 50 apple pies. "I was like, 'I didn't think this through!'" Conrad said, making fun . "It was a lot, but I liked the idea of a home-baked dessert."

For the cake, they kept it simple.
The couple chose a two-tier vanilla-iced chocolate cake from A Sweet Savory bakery.

The rest of the menu, though, sounds pretty decadent too.
Guests had a choice of black striped bass, Tuscan roasted chicken, and beef tenderloin to nosh on. For the after party, mini grilled cheese sandwiches and bite-sized chicken and waffles were passed around for the guests to munch on.

The music choices were on point.
Conrad walked down the aisle to The Beatles' "In My Life" while their first dance was to Once's version of "You're My Best Friend." The musical highpoint, though, was when Tell, the former front-man of Something Corporate, hopped on stage and sang Frankie Valli's "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" to Conrad.

Overall, it sounds like one amazing bash!
