We all were hoping for a reunion of The Hills cast members at Lauren Conrad's wedding, but unfortunately that did not happen. Conrad's former co-star on the hit reality TV show Whitney Port missed Conrad's big day, as she was in New York City.
"I wasn't able to make it, I was here," Port told People at a LinkedIn Build Your Professional Brand event in the Big Apple earlier this week.
As the two both got their starts in fashion during their internships at Teen Vogue, naturally Conrad's big-day look was brought up. "She's very confident in her own style, as she should be," Port said of Conrad, knowing that her friend looked beautiful on her wedding day in despite of not seeing any pictures or knowing what she wore.

Port is in the midst of planning her own nuptials to Tim Rosenman and she is not stressing herself about it one bit. "I'm taking my time for sure, but I have begun planning," she said. She continued, "I thought I had some stuff figured out, but some things have gotten switched up as of late. I don't really want to get into it, but it's definitely at the forefront of my mind, and I'm working on it. There are obviously so many different decisions to make, but I'm the kind of person that gives myself time and doesn't really put pressure on myself, which can be nice, but sometimes when you do that you become this indecisive ball of mess."
Port is over the moon about marrying her Prince Charming, but doesn't care a great deal about the "married" label. "I already know that I'm going to be with him forever, and I feel completely confident in that. I don't need that label. But I just think it's exciting to be in this next chapter of our lives, as cheesy as it sounds. I think the most exciting thing is, obviously, just to be able to start a family and to call him my husband."
What we can expect from Port's wedding? A "colorful" and "eclectic" mix with loads of "texture" play. Hopefully, Conrad will be in attendance and we can get the reunion we've been so patiently waiting for.
