Only two weeks of marriage in, and Jenny McCarthy is already without a wedding ring. No, she and brand-new hubby Donnie Wahlberg aren't calling it quits (that would break Kim Kardashian's 72-day marriage record, though) — she just accidentally lost her band.
According the Sirius XM host, McCarthy slipped off the ring Wahlberg had just placed on her finger, resting it on a room service cart before "getting frisky" with her man. Unfortunately, they may have gotten a bit too frisky, since after they were done they realized that McCarthy's ring is nowhere to be found!
"I've already lost the ring," she told Good Day NY. "We were staying in a hotel and you can't have a wedding ring on ... it's a little hard to get romantic with diamonds on your hand! I removed it and put it on the room service table, and they came and turned down the room and the ring was gone."

"But you know what, though? If you're gonna lose your wedding ring, you should lose it that way," McCarthy added. We couldn't agree more! It's better than it falling down the sink, or getting eaten by the dog.

"I'm hoping someone does find it. They could have maybe not seen it, or it could have gone under a dish and thrown away on accident," she told ABC News. "But I'm missing it today! I keep going, 'Where is my ring?!' But Donnie and I are both laughing that at least we lost it for the best reason possible!"
Turns out, the ring was found and returned to its rightful owner. To quell any further quips about the misplaced item, Wahlberg hilariously tweeted, "Before the rumor mill goes crazy- we found Jenny's wedding band. Right where I thought it was... #BetweenTheSheets"

At least these two can laugh about it! Seems like their marriage is off to a proper start.
