Scarlett Johansson has a lot to celebrate these days! She's not only been engaged to hunky French journalist Romain Dauriac since September, the lovestruck couple also welcomed their first child together yesterday!
Johansson's daughter was born in New York City and named Rose Dorothy. Adorably, the baby girl's middle name is after Johansson's grandmother, who, the Lucy star warmly recalled earlier this year, was "the first Francophone in my family."
The news was officially confirmed by the actress's publicist who told the Associated Press in a statement that "Mother and daughter are doing well."

Six months before the pregnancy was announced, Johansson happily accepted Dauriac's proposal (which, FYI, included an amazing Art Deco-inspired engagement ring). And while she kept a relatively low-profile as an expectant bride-to-be, she did step out a few times to debut a seriously cute baby bump.
Now all that's left for these new parents is a wedding! Despite previous reports that they'd wed in August, we're not too surprised Johansson decided to wait and focus on her little Rose — for now, at least.
When the time comes, though, we expect the affair to be intimate, held in France, and low-key. After all, this past March the new mom told Access Hollywood, "I'm terrible at planning. Yeah, I'm not gonna plan anything — I like to wing it!"
Whether she "wings it" or not, we hope that they'll wait long enough for little Rose to act as flower girl!
