Pregnant-and-engaged Christina Aguilera is expecting her second child any day, but that doesn't mean the singer stepped out in anything matronly. The bride-to-be celebrated the upcoming birth of her daughter in style, wearing a floor-length white dress.
Us Weekly reports that Aguilera's baby shower was held at a private residence on July 12, where friends and family fawned over the second-time mom. The co-ed Midsummer Night's Dream-themed party was filled with Moroccan pillow seating, string lights, and tons of romantic candlelight. Aguilera dressed the part in a white lattice-print maxi dress from Tees by Tina, complete with gauzy long sleeves. To accent her look, The Voice mentor styled her soft wavy hair with an ethereal flower crown featuring greenery, cream roses, and dusty miller.

We can totally see Aguilera donning a similar look on her wedding day. The mix of classic and bohemian details feels just right for the second-time bride.
The groom-to-be and first-time father Matthew Rutler also made an appearance at the bash in Aguilera's honor. The engaged duo chatted with guests, shared news that their daughter's pink nursery was complete, and were spotted looking especially in love as Rutler kissed Aguilera's baby bump.
"Everybody gave toasts and Christina gave a speech about how she felt so much love," a guest told People. "She thanked everyone for supporting her and said how excited she was to have a baby girl. It was a really sweet night."
Congrats to the soon-to-be-parents! We can't wait to see if this adorable little girl makes an appearance at their future nuptials — maybe as the flower girl? Only time will tell.
